why was Silver in summer school

During te prom episodes silver was not enrolled at west beverly so why did she have to got to summer school at west beverly.I mean it would make sense that she would be suspended at her other school.I wonder if the writers noticed that.

also between s1 and 2 the ppl in charge of the onyesha changed and the new lady wanted to drop some things that had happened in s1 (which is why ethan is gone now)
