Chapter 1: Dead and Gone?

"Dang it Bonnie, get out of my head!" she yelled as she drifted in and out of sleep.
Marcel...
Marceli...
"Stop!" she screamed as she tossed and turned.
Marcelin...
MARCELINE!!!
"Huh", Marceline woke up with a start.
"Marceline?"
In the doorway stood Keila, her fellow bandmate and guitaris.
"Marceline, wewe okay?"
"Uh... yeah! Just a bad dream. Just... a really, really bad dream."
* * *
"Alright guys, ready to jam?" asked Marceline.
"Ready", called back her three bandmates Bongo the drummer, Guy the keyboardist, and Keila the guitarist. Who were practicing at the Misfit City Stadium.
"Alright let's start off on the chorus of 'Boys for Breakfast.'"
Keila grabbed her pic and strumed the guitar, gitaa while Guy's fingers worked their magic over the keyboard and Bonga pounded the drums.
"*ah-hem* You're gonna be my breakfast babyyy... you're gonna be my brunch... NO NO NO stop!"
"What is it Marce?" asked Bongo.
"It's not coming out right!" she cried.
"We can always try it again", alisema Keila.
"No I'm not in the mood wewe guys, I... I gotta go clear my head", alisema Marceline as she ran off the stage and off into the back woods behind the stadium. She kept on walking until she was at the edge of the forest were there was a cliff that over-looked the ocean. She sat down on the edge of the cliff and let her feet swimg back and forth in the breeze.
"Livin' life on the edge, eh, Marce?"
She turned around to see a familar face, "Oh, hi Guy. What re wewe doing here?"
"I followed you."
"I alisema I wanted to clear my head i.e. kwa myself."
"C'mon I can tell that somethings really bugging you."
"It's nothing."
"C'mon."
"It's just that... I had a dream."
"What a nightmare? You're not scared are you?"
"It was about Bonnibel."
Guy became silent. After that he didn't say anything for almost 10 minutes.
"What'd wewe see?" he finally broke the silence.
"I didn't see anything I just heard her... saying my name over and over."
"Marceline, it's been 7 months since she went missing -
"I KNOW THAT!" she screamed agrily. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you."
"I know."
"It's just all starting to pile up. I miss home, I miss Ooo, the Candy Kingdom, and most of all -
"Finn and Jake?"
"Yes. This is all Bonnie's fault!"
"How can this be her fault?!"
"If she never would've explored those caves looking for that stupid chemical rock thing she needed for her experiment she would've never gone missing, Lemongrab would've never taken over and Finn and Jake would've never tried to save the siku and end up in the royal dungeon."
"Still wewe can't blame her."
"It was her job as a princess to think of protecting her self for her people. She should've NEVER put herself in harms way! And that's not all."
"What do wewe mean?"
"There's a rumor about Flame Princess when she heard about Finn."
"What?"
"She trided to save Finn and Jake so they could reclaim the land, so people could return to their homes. But it was just a trap."
"What did Earl do to her?!"
"She trided fighting with moto but Earl came with an army of Ice."
"You don't mean -
"He found Bonnie's book of experiments and used a potion for hypnotism on the Ice King so he'd give him his crown."
"Don't tell me."
"HE FROZE HER!"
"Does that mean she's..."
"She's in a coma and she's in critical condition. It's so bad."
Again there was a long wave of silence.
"All of Ooo is in disorder and if not ruins", Marceline spoke up.
"Bubblegum's not coming back is she?"said Guy trying to hide his tears.
"Not this time".
