You are right. Animals should not be used. They are not equipment!

So right, Bernie. You'd think that being in the 21st century we would've progressed and eliminated these barbaric methods of research.
It's very sad and it makes me angry to hear news like this. As just ordinary folk we can only do so much to help our animals, I think it's time governments pulled their fingers out and did something to abolish these acts of cruelty. Whether it's research or not, it IS still animal abuse and cruelty!
