And most of the animals aren't already dead, they electrocute, drown, and do more to the animals to kill them! And wool isn't okay either. Australian wool farmers do a procedure on the sheep called mulesing, which is where they cut chunks of skin from around the sheep's tender backside. This is done to prevent maggots.
