Has anyone else seen the Barchester Chronicles?

This weekend I finished watching all the episodes of the Barchester Chronicles and I absolutely loved it. The story was very interesting (although it did take a moment to pick up) and Rickman's character, Mr. Slope, was truly unsavory. Rickman's uigizaji was wonderful; I despised his character and wanted him to leave Barchester.

How did wewe feel about the show?

I know it's an old show, but still, it kinda bothered me. I loved Alan's uigizaji though, but then again, I always upendo his acting. He owns every sekunde he is on screen. I also liked the story. Maybe it's time to watch it again.

I believe that Obediah Slope is EASILY one of Alan's best roles to tarehe :) As much as I upendo Alan as a PERSON, I couldn't help but find Mr. Slope to be quite a slimy sort! I highly recommend this series to any shabiki of Mr. Rickman :)

I absolutely L♥VED the Barchester Chronicles! :) As stated, it did take a few dakika for me to really become interested in the story line but-after I did-I was hooked! I believe that Obediah Slope is EASILY one of Alan's best roles to tarehe :) As much as I upendo Alan as a PERSON, I couldn't help but find Mr. Slope to be quite a slimy sort! I highly recommend this series to any shabiki of Mr. Rickman :)

i did see him as slope and i thought he was superb. his character was meant to be unlikeable and he did a good job at it. he is truly brilliant. plus there is a bit of a softy in there... i really liked, "beautiful woman, wewe cannot pretend to be ignorant that i adore you."
