It was a beautiful morning in Jasper National Park. The birds were chirpy, as usual and the alpha Mbwa mwitu loups were already out hunting for our early meal. The caribou were becoming zaidi scarce as the days and weeks went by. Only about 10 au so in a single herd.
I woke to the sound of my mate, Jalisa, stretching in the morning sun. She was so beautiful, her fur, golden-brown and eyes that were to die for. I met her about 2 months zamani when I was on my morning walk. She came right up to me and greeted me nicely. I alisema hello back and started to walk away until she asked, "Can I walk with you?" in a small voice. "Sure, if wewe want?" I replied back. "What is your name" she asked. "Gerald, how about you?" "My name is Jalisa! I upendo your name!" she complimented. "Well, thank you, yours is a nice name too!" I giggled. "Do wewe have a mate?" she asked. "No, why?" I answered. "Well, because...I am sorta...looking for one." she alisema in a very timid voice. "I'd be happy to oblige, if you'd like?" I told her. "Of course!" she alisema happily. We continued our walk asking eachother maswali and other things. That is pretty much how we got here today.
"Good morning, gorgeous!" I exclaimed. *yawns* "Good morning, dear. How was your sleep?" she asked. "Ummm, it was fine I guess. You?" "Urgh! I hardly slept at all!" she madly said. "Oh, well sorry to hear that." I said. I walked over to her and licked her cheek, "Cheer up, sweetheart!" I said, trying to get her in a better mood. "I can't stay mad when wewe are around!" she alisema giggling, and putting a smile on her pretty face. "Oh, I think Kate and the others are back with the early meal!" she said, raring to go. "Well, what are we waiting for!?" I said, sprinting out the door. "Race ya!" I yelled. "Huh, no way!" giggled Jalisa. We both ran to get our share of the meal, laughing most of the way there. We walked up to Kate and asked how the hunt went. She alisema it was still getting harder to find caribou nowadays, as they were migrating east for some reason. So we got our share of the caribou, thanked Kate and went back to the pango to eat.
