me, I prefer shounen anime.. while in manga I prefer shoujo! :)

I don't care about what genre it is, I only care if it's good. Shounenmanga can be pretty good, but a lot of them are basically the same thing over and over again. Shoujo manga can be great if wewe do it right, but they can get really obnoxious.

To be completely honest, I actually prefer shoujo anime over shounen because not only I think that the art style is so cute, it is also because I found them zaidi sophisticated in their stories than the likes of shounen. My list: Fruits Basket Tokyo Mew Mew Ojamajo Doremi Ouran High School Host Club Super GALS! Powerpuff Girls Z and of course... Revolutionary Girl Utena to name a few!
