When/How did wewe start to become a shabiki of anime?

I started to become an anime shabiki when I was like 10,9 years old.My friend asked if she can use my computer and I saw she was watching Inuyasha.So,she showed me it and I started to get interested in it.After watching all the Inuyasha episodes,I looked up some zaidi anime series.I found bleach and some other animes so I Inuyasha was boring to me then.So that's my story of becoming an anime fan.

Late 1980s, I was 8. The manager of the local video rental got whatever anime he could get his hands on & put it in the International section, from G-rated Unico to R-rated Crying Freeman. (I don;t remember what he had over the time, he kept adding zaidi stuff over the years). I was drawn to the style & the superior plot & character development (something kind of absent in anime of the past 12 years) but god those dubs were shit quality.
