Aquamarine Has anyone read the book?

...by Alice Hoffman, author of Practical Magic. (great book, terrible movie)

Aquamarine is actually a childrens chapter book, I read it because I was a fan of the movie and a fan of the author, but I couldn't decide how I felt about it since it was very different from the movie. (as books and movies usually are)

I propose that all Aquamarine fans go to your nearest b&n or borders and read it. (it's short. I finished it in 20 minutes) Post your opinion.

i read the book before the movie and i like the movie better than the book i dont know why but i think it is because that the movie has more than the book so

it's weird. usually the movie cuts out a lot of stuff. but in this case it's the opposite.

besides, my favorite part of the movie was when aqua said, "you can always call me on my shell-phone!" When I bought the book, I had to add that line myself.

yeah I read it about 5 years before the movie came out and I liked both versions, they're pretty different so I couldn't really compare them but I love both.
