Ariana Grande and Big Sean Burn Naya Rivera In New Track ‘Research’ 

Big Sean just dropped a hot new track called “Research,” and it features none other than his girlfriend, Ariana Grande. But that’s not the big news. It seems this new track from Big Sean and Ariana Grande is about none other than Big Sean’s ex-fiance, Naya Rivera.

In “Research,” Big Sean raps about an ex-girlfriend hacking into his phone “like a cop,” according to

“Through all the evil in your eyes I can still see the good though/But you unlockin’ my cell like you is a cop/How you decode all my V-mails, G-mails even P.O. boxes got me P.O.’d/You saw my emails with CeCe when you wasn’t CC’d,” Big Sean raps.

Big Sean even name drops Drake and Chris Brown, insinuating that Naya Rivera acts more like a groupie who can’t afford her own bar tab.

“I saw you wearing Drake’s chain like you was part of his crew/I saw you chilling with Meek Mill up at the Summer Jam/Seein’ you at the SoHo House I know you can’t afford that tab/When I run into Chris Brown and he laugh.”

Ariana Grande, meanwhile, gets into the act as well, as she sings the chorus about his ex texting him all of the time. This isn’t the first time there has been beef between Ariana and Naya either. Most recently, Naya Rivera performed Ariana Grande’s smash hit “Problem” on

. The performance caused a debate amongst fans as to which singer did the better rendition.

Ariana Grande, however, is too busy with a career of her own to necessarily care about the beef Big Sean harbors for Naya Rivera. According to the

, Grande will embark on her first-ever headlining tour next week in support of her sophomore LP,

, which sold more than 400,000 copies in its first week last August. The tour has also indicated how much of a mainstream success she has become, with secondary ticket prices rivaling pop counterpart Meghan Trainor, who began her That Bass Tour in Vancouver last week.

She also has a bit of controversy on her hands with her latest music video. As reported by the

, the apocalyptic video for Ariana’s new song “One Last Time” may have been lifted from Australian band SAFIA’s video for “You Are The One.” The band did post on their Facebook page, however, that it’s possible the similarities to Grande’s video are purely coincidental.
