A/N: I know wewe all want me to go on forever with this story, and while it technically is possible, I just can’t. This chapter is a timeline of some significant events (not all, obviously) through history and how Arthur and Gwen react to them, leading up to the present-day epilogue.

Arthur returned with his knights from patrol on one icy evening in December. He longed for a plate full of meat, a cup of wine and a hot bath afterwards. But first he had to look after his father. Since Morgana’s reign and what she had done to him, he was broken and couldn’t fulfill his duties as s king; Arthur had to take charge.

Arthur had just returned from patrol with the knights. Sir Leon was talking to him but he was barely listening to him, because he was starving to death.
