    “I see what wewe mean about the gardens,” Gwen says as they walk up the path to Roger and Lorraine’s house. They’d packed up and closed up the house already and drove the short distance to drop off the keys on their way back to London.
    Arthur rings the bell, reaching for Gwen’s hand as they wait. No one comes to the door.
