I think with gwen's influence he is going to become alot more compassionate, hopefully towards Merlin and other servants. I think is going to stay in camelot alot more and venture less, now that he has a wife. Now, that Arthur's attention is with Gwen, Merlin can focus on his magic and hopefully getting a wife for himself

He has already changed to great King in my opinion. But married to Gwen he only become even greater ;)

I think now that he will actually be living with Gwen, he will naturally curve his behavior and approach to things differently, whether that is Gwen's firect influence or Arthur trying to make himself more attractive, both physically and mentally/emotionally. I'm sure the scene where Merlin literally has to stuff food into his mouth and then pull him out of bed will not be repeated. Certainly if Gwen happens to share Arthur's chamber. ;) I've also never seen him moan around Gwen, so I think there will be less of that apparent too. :) After all, Gwen is an incrediably possitive person!

People usually have to change in some ways after they're married. Can't go on the same as always. And I sure hope those morning antics with Merlin will cease. After all, he's the king. Please. No more of that or I'll pitch a fit.

I'm almost sure he'll "share a bed" with his wife (remember Katrina the troll?), so that for sure will bring about huge changes in him.

Naima, as much as I hope with all my heart that the days of Merlin showing up in the morning are over, I would NOT put it past them to try to still appease.... sorry, but I just don't trust this show. Still love it to pieces, but well, just sayin'. Please let me not have a ground to stand on with that statement.

I believe/hope that being married will effect Arthur in positive ways, his overall character will not be changed drastically.

No I don't think so. I think he has always been influenced by Gwen. She brings out the best in him. He will continue to grow as a person and we all change through life. But I don't think marriage itself will change him. It will just make him happier and complete.

Arthur will change in some ways, because when you get married you naturally have to adjust your routine. But he will still be the Arthur we know and love. Btw, Arthur and Guinevere better share a room. That would create better "wake up" scenes, rather than the Merlin/Arthur ones.

I don't want him to change:) I love him how he is now awesome lover/husband for gwen, awesome friend to merlin and awesome king to everyone:)
