This spot was created because our wonderful internet village of fanpop has been infected with trollitis. If wewe are not familiar with the term "trolls" then allow me to explain: an internet troll is a person who goes on a site au maoni a video just for the sake of insulting someone's interests, contributions au opinions.

Trolls are very hurtful. Even though we know our content isn't bad, it still feels awful to see that 1-star rating on content we have added.

Quite a few trolls have been popping up on fanpop (excuse the pun) and rating many a contribution as "1 star" which are worthy of at least three stars. The aim in this spot is to notify others of hivi karibuni troll activity and boost the rating on content/spots which have become victims of trollism.

We are now a few days into the spot and I read a soapbox makala from Dazl: link

It made me think about what we are working towards: a fairly rated website. And I realised that wasn't enough, we need to stop trolls from being mean in maoni form as well as rating form. If wewe see someone being mean to another user, please inform other members of the A.T.S.O.F and we'll do what we can to sort out the problem; as mentioned in ThinkPink20's soapbox (link) we can help the situation by: reporting the user, taking sides with the victim, sending the victim supportive emails au politley ask the troll to not be horrible.

DarkSarcasm Good idea, Knifewrench. For some reason, when I saw the name of the spot and started poking around, I got a mental picture of The Janitor fighting off the troll in Harry Potter with his mighty knifewrench. LOL. =D

Cinders An excellent idea, knifewrench, like I said before! I just wanted to say, I rated this a four because it's short, but it has a very good message. I rated your other one a five because I thought it was an exquisite idea! Just to get into the habit of explaining my ratings. Even ones that aren't so poor.

Ways That wewe Can Notice A Troll

These are ways that wewe can notice a troll spawning.
Before wewe read this, my examples are relatively stupid. I don't really know how to act like a troll, so my examples suck. Sorry.

1. A troll may have unreadable grammar and spelling, making things hard to read, even their insults. A troll may use the regular internet shorthand, such as "ur" instead of "your" and "u" instead of "you". An example of troll-like uandishi is this: Were r u, wunderland? u suk.

2. Another way that wewe can notice a troll is a person abusing the nyara lock. Abusing the nyara lock is making an entire paragraph capitalized....
