Okay, I'm going to work on a series of makala on this club, and this is it. I will discuss 5 episodes at a time in each article, and I will do them in order. Here we go! Please keep in mind this is my opinion on the episodes, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Enjoy the article!

The Boy in the Iceberg/The Avatar Returns.
I'm going to count them as two episodes but put them in the same description, I hope that makes sense. :P This episode isn't really one of my favorites. It's interesting, definitely, and it's a great way to start off an amazing series like Avatar: The Last Airbender, but it is not one of my favorites. I don't really like how the characters are in this episode. Because they're just being introduced, they're not developed and still have a lot to learn and go through before development, so that's why I don't like them as much as I do in later episodes. I do upendo Aang in this episode, he's really adorable in the early episodes, all hyper and such. I like Katara in this episode, but she's not as interesting to me as she is in later episodes. Sokka.. Ugh. He really annoys me in earlier episodes. He's not as funny as he is in the later episodes, and what's meant to be funny comes out as insulting. I hate how rude he is to Katara in this epsiode. Zuko is just kind of annoying in general, because of his whole, "I must find the Avatar!" Thing going on, but I still like him. Anyways, I upendo this epsiode, but there are a lot zaidi that I like better than this one.

The Southern Air Temple.
As I mentioned before I'm going to count "The Boy in the Iceberg" and "The Avatar Returns" as two episodes, but put them in ne description, so this is the sekunde description. Anyways, I really upendo this episode. It shows Aang's past, and explains really well about the airbenders. I learned a lot zaidi about the airbenders from watching this episode. It also begins to onyesha Aang's complexity. It shows how upset he is, after having all the airbenders wiped away kwa the moto nation. None of the other characters really showed any complexity in this episode, but I still upendo them anyways. Sokka is not annoying in this episode, luckily, and my opinion on Katara stays the same as the last episode. I also upendo Appa. Too bad Aang finds Momo in this episode, ugh! xD As for the plot-line, as I mentioned before, it's really interesting and I enjoy it a lot. Overall, I upendo this episode, although it is not in my juu 20 inayopendelewa Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes, I really do upendo it. On to the inayofuata episode.

The Warriors of Kyoshi.
I actually upendo this episode a lot. It's in my juu 20 Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes. (For now, my orodha for it keeps changing.) Lets go over the episode. I'll start with the characters. I upendo Aang in this episode, he seems to have wiped away all the sadness from before, and he's as hyper and fun of a character as always. He can get a little self absorbed around the middle of the episode, but I don't mind it that much. He is the Avatar, and I think he should get at least some credit for it. I upendo Katara in this episode, it's funny to see how she gets jealous of the attention Aang is getting, I do feel kind of sorry for her. Despite loving Aang and Katara in this episode, I really dislike Sokka in this episode. This might be the worst he's been in any episode, I think. He's really sexist in this episode. "Guys are better at fighting, girls are better with clothes and stuff." And, "I was not captured kwa a GIRL." It's a good thing he improves throughout the series, au else I would hate him. He learns his lesson in the end of the episode, luckily. Zuko, eh, I like him zaidi au less in this episode. Suki is okay here, I don't mind her but I don't really like her. As for the plot-line, it's actually one of my vipendwa in an Avatar episode, I upendo how carefree and fun it is. (Until the end, of course.) Despite disliking a few parts of this episode, I really do upendo this episode.

The King of Omashu.
This episode is HILARIOUS! Bumi is definitely one of the funniest Avatar characters, he made me laugh the whole way through. Anyways, I also upendo this episode. Like with The Warriors of Kyoshi, I upendo how carefree the basic plot of the episode is. It's really interesting as well. The characters in this episode.. Aang, I upendo how wewe get to know the way he handles things in situations, like the situation he was in with getting Flopsy. Katara, well, they haven't really gotten into her character at this point, so there's not much zaidi to say about her here. Sokka is way better in this episode, and is actually funny. Bumi, as I mentioned earlier, is hilarious! The "lettuce leaf" joke, and practically everything that comes out of his mouth makes me laugh. Back to the plot-line, it's really interesting. It's really great to get to see someone who Aang actually knew BEFORE being frozen in the iceberg, and it's interesting to guess who it is in the episode, I actually don't know how I didn't think of it at the beginning. They leave hints, yet they're easy to ignore, and they make it a surprise kwa the end. Overall, I upendo this episode and it is one of my inayopendelewa Season 1 episodes.

I've seen it commonly argued that Azula is a sadist and a killer and I disagree whole-heartedly for various reasons. For one thing, she is still a child, a child from an abusive and dysfunctional nyumbani at that. For seconds, I've always felt as though she has really done nothing different than any other character at the end of the day. I also believe that redemption is very possible for Azula. I wanted to elaborate on this kwa pulling things from old debates and makala I've written, just to throw my opinions into a zaidi organized format instead of having to re-type the same points every time...

Another burning sensation fired its way, white-hot, up and down Azula’s body. It was as if she’d accidently set her own body aflame. She clutched her blankets tightly and bit her cheek, so not to cry out.

Her skin felt moist and clammy, her strength seeming to trickle out with each bead of sweat—leaving her with a contradicting cold sensation. A feeling of emptiness, as if her own flame was flickering out. Slowly and agonizingly.

Despite her best efforts, a small whimper slid through her parted lips.

It didn’t matter.

No one was around to hear it.

She couldn’t risk the company. All...

There will be spoilers of parts in the episode Sozin's Comet. So I suggest wewe watch that episode before kusoma this.

I need to calm down. I've been upset too much in this amount of time.

What is wrong with me?

Where did that come from? I REALLY need to calm down. I'm thinking things that I can't control, like thinking about....

I'm not going to say it.

My mother.

*sigh* of course I thought it. I would be so happy, not remembering her, but the thought of her hating me..

My own mother hated me.

My own mother..

Well, it's time to get ready for my coronation.

Wait until mom sees my now! The new fire...

5. Her Zuko impression

I honestly can't quite say why I upendo this so much. Honestly I think this episode as a whole was good for Azula. This is when she finally makes the big reveal to Aang that she's Zuko's sister. And she doesn't do it in this cliche, typical, 'I am your father' kind of way. She does it in this 'yup I'm totally the younger sibling' way. And I upendo it, it's hilarious. It's unique to her. And it was very good for characterization.

4. Her "I'm a pretty good liar" speech

Again I upendo this because it was just so witty and funny. "I am a 400 foot tall purple platypus...

Keep in mind this is my opinion, thanks! :)

5.Aang

He's not going to be number one just because he's the protagonist. But he's going to be on it. I upendo his personality, he's so hyper and sweet. He's also super awesome because he's the avatar, and I personally think he does his job better than Korra, but that's just me. I upendo how he's the last airbender and I upendo his relationship with Katara. He's such a great character, he's funny, cool, sweet, and he's a good role model, supporting things like peace and not killing people. It was really brave of him to take away Ozai's bending instead...
