First I didn't care for him, then I disliked him but at the end it was sad I felt bad for him because all he wanted was equality. He never wanted to go to the full extremes like Amon he just blinded by what Amon told him and he wanted to make everyone equal. I don't know though.. lol 8)

I don't really care about him, but the ending for him was sad, how Amon lied to him and all. I feel kinda bad for him

And maybe if you actually payed attention, you'd see he wasn't a villain at all. But someone who wanted to help others, because that whole city was treating non-benders like dirt. So really, Korra was the villian to them because she just made everything worse and showed why they hated benders. He stood by his leaders side, and fought to protect his people. Then found out his leader was lying to him, and was the person he was protecting them from.

The Lieutenant was an antagonist. He was a villain in this story.
He got in the way of the protagonist, despite the fact that he was misled.
Did you even pay attention in language arts?

I liked him. I thought he was a good character, despite being a villain.
He had decent qualities that he demonstrated towards Amon and Amon's cause: loyal, trustworthy, skilled, and determined. I don't blame him for siding with the enemy; tbh, I found Amon's cause to be insightful. Non-benders deserved to be treated as equals to the benders; however, they never were given the same courtesy/rights as the benders. Sure Amon took it to the extreme due to his own personal reasons, but at least he got the people to stand up for themselves. So I applaud Amon and The Lieutenant for following through with their plans and I think Lieutenant was just doing his job.

Listen, Pumpkin, learn some respect for others. Not everyone is going to agree with you, deal with it. A lot of people don't like villains, that's fine. Some do, some don't. Cut it out already. You're not a five year old. Or are you? This is ridiculous; it's all bullshit. Every single poll has a fight. It's a cartoon, can't deal with it? Go back to 1st grade and learn what the difference between real and fake is; fanfiction and reality. And you're saying Korra's the one causing trouble and being the bad guy? I don't think so. Are you seriously saying that Amon and the Lieutenant were the good ones? They had good points with everyone being equal, but sorry, that's not how life works. Not everyone's equal and that's why in the *cartoon* there are nonbenders and benders. It's a storyline. Korra saved a lot of people the Lieutenant and Amon were hurting and if you think hurting people and taking away someone's bending, hurting them, terrorizing them is right? I agree with bakes. Just because they're a villain/antagonist doesn't make them evil. They had good intentions but carried them out in an extreme way. But to me all of the villains had great back stories and character to them, which it seems you don't enjoy Magical. But maybe if Magical gave some great reasons to dislike any of the characters then I'm sure pumpkin would understand more. Bluntly saying she hates the villains made pumpkin upset because pumpkin has that "connection" where she felt bad for the guy. The person he looked up to the most just betrayed and lied to him.

dianeyoung: I don't see why bringing up that he was an antagonist has to do anything. They just get in the way of the protagonist doesn't mean anything. They could be on hell of an awesome character.

Appa: We all just have very strong opinions and would like to share them even though we might portray them in a more harsh way. And sure Amon carried out his good intentions in a bad way, that was just his personal reasons for it. If it was someone else who was more civilized I'm sure everything would be fine.

You can't just hate a character because he/she's a villain.

I like him ,he was an epic fighter and had amazing skills wih the kali-sticks , even when he got beat up he still kept coming back . And i feel bad for him cuz Amon lied to him and all equalists and even bloodbent him and he probably won't be coming back in the new books.

At the end I felt bad for him because he was tricked by Amon maybe he might be in book 2
