When Lydia arrived at her house, John, Pattie, Rebecca, Catherine, Marie, and Gavin were waiting anxiously. Pattie asked, "How did it go?" Lydia said, "I'm starting a new job on Monday!" Rebecca said, "That's great!" Catherine said, "I'm so happy for you!" Marie said, "I'm glad wewe found a new job!" Gavin said, "I knew that wewe would!" Pattie said, "I had faith in you, Lydia." John said, "Let's celebrate!" They all went out for dinner. The server asked them, "Are wewe celebrating anything tonight?" Lydia said, "I'm starting a new job." The server said, "Awesome!" After placing their orders, Lydia and her Marafiki talked about the day's events. Lydia said, "You were right, Pattie, when wewe alisema something would find me. I just used my compassion, and everything fell into place." Pattie said, "It's so great that wewe just did what comes naturally to you, and wewe impressed Dr. Burke. I'm really happy for you." They continued the celebration and even got chokoleti cake for dessert. The inayofuata morning, Lydia and John bid their Marafiki goodbye, as they were going back to their homes to prepare for their gigs. That Monday, Lydia started her new job, and she was the happiest she had been in a long time.

Lydia woke up at the crack of dawn. She had a terrible nightmare about Alan getting out of jail and raping her. Not wanting to wake anyone, she quietly slipped out of the room. She got a Faygo soda from a soda machine. Faygo soda is found everywhere in Michigan, because Faygo is a Michigan brand. As Lydia sipped on the soda, Pattie came up to her. Pattie said, "There wewe are, Lydia. I was wondering where wewe were." Lydia gave a half smile. Pattie asked, "Are wewe okay?" Lydia said, "No, I'm not. I had a terrible nightmare." Pattie asked, "What happened in your nightmare?" She placed her hands...

Lydia and her Marafiki got chajio, chakula cha jioni and ended the evening with karaoke. They went to the hotel. After they unpacked their things, John called Lydia on her cellphone. She said, "I'm putting wewe on speaker so that wewe can talk to everyone." He said, "Okay." Lydia's Marafiki said, "Hello, John." He said, "Hello, everyone." Lydia's Marafiki introduced themselves. They talked about their adventure. John said, "You all were so noble to come to Pattie's rescue. Are wewe all right, Pattie?" She said, "I'm fine. I do hope Alan stays in jail. He is absolutely despicable and just sick." Lydia said, "I wish there was a way to get even with him." John said, "You don't have to. Karma will get him in the end." Catherine said, "John's right. There was a guy who hurt me and my friends. He ended up dying from alcohol poisoning." Lydia said, "I guess karma is real." After talking with John, Lydia and her Marafiki called it a night and went to bed.

The cops allowed Lydia to speak with Alan. She asked him, "Why did wewe try to hurt my best friend?" He replied, "For revenge." She cried, "Revenge?! What did I ever do to you?!" He said, "You started dating someone else." She said, "So did you." He said, "I wasn't dating her. She was part of my plan." Lydia said, "Listen here! I know wewe have every right to be jealous, but wewe have no right to hurt anyone!" Pattie added, "Yeah! It's bad enough that wewe hurt Lydia, but then wewe tried to hurt me! I had nothing to do with Lydia's choice to tarehe John! wewe and that girl are the most inconsiderate,...

Lydia had not used her vacation days. Her boss said, "Use them au lose them." She chose to use them. She took a trip to Michigan. Her Marafiki agreed to meet her there. As they were eating at the chakula court at the mall, Pattie asked, "Where's John?" Lydia said, "Unlike me, he used his vacation days. Someone has to look after Foxy anyway." She showed her Marafiki a picture of John and Foxy together. Catherine said, "Aw! John's so good with Foxy!" Rebecca said, "I think wewe asked the right person." Gavin said, "Yes. wewe can tell he's a dog lover." Marie said, "Definitely." Pattie said, "I think...

One day, Lydia and John were talking. Lydia said, "For the longest time, I've been afraid to love. When Alan gave up on me, it broke my heart. I didn't want to take the chance of getting hurt again." John said, "You don't have to be afraid. I won't give up on you." She said, "Really?" He said, "I mean it. Of course, I understand where you're coming from." She said, "You do?" He said, "I dated a girl in high school. She gave up on me, just like Alan gave up on you. I was afraid to upendo for a while, but I realized that I was missing out kwa being so afraid." When Lydia told her Marafiki about it,...

Five years passed. The Beatles shabiki club had grown considerably. Pattie and all others currently contributing had numerous medals. Lydia was living in Tennessee, near Greeneville. She was a receptionist at a local veterinary clinic. Catherine, Marie, and Gavin were musicians living in Georgia. Pattie and Rebecca were also musicians. Rebecca was living in England, and Pattie visited Liverpool. One day, Lydia had a siku off. She was relaxing in the yard with her new puppy, Foxy, a Gerberian Shepsky. She fell asleep under the Red maple in her yard. She felt someone shaking her at the shoulders....

Lydia was feeling pretty good until her dog, Fluffer Nutter, passed away. She was going to the college for her final exam, and she and her mother found his lifeless body in the yard. He was lying on his stomach with his back paws tucked underneath. It was as if he was sleeping, but he was stiff. Lydia estimated that his time of death was around 4:00 in the morning. Despite this, she passed her exam with flying colors and graduated cum laude, which is one of the higher honors. Her Marafiki had lots of hugs for her. Two months later, her grandfather passed away. He was eighty-two. While she was...

Lydia continued to live in denial that her relationship with Alan was over. In February, she began to rethink things. She decided the relationship wasn't going anywhere. She wanted to break up with him without hurting him, so she turned to a friend for advice. Lydia said, "Catherine, I'm thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend. We haven't seen each other since Valentine's siku last year, and we haven't spoken since at least the summer. I feel like the relationship isn't going anywhere, but we had some good times together." Catherine said, "Lydia, it doesn't make sense that wewe call this...

Lydia stayed at the high school. At one point, she thought about doubling up to graduate early so that she could graduate with her boyfriend. At the end of the year, she told Alan, "I decided not to double up." He asked, "Why not?" She said, "If I double up, I can't take Veterinary Assistant, and I really want to take that class. I'm also taking geometry, and that's going to be hard." He said, "That's true. Why make things harder...

Lydia and Alan talked a lot over the phone during the summer. They didn't necessarily talk every day, but when they did talk, it was at least two hours. During Lydia's first mwaka of high school, she ended up having the first class of the siku with Alan. The class was Computer Applications. The class was a joke. The teacher didn't really teach anything. The only reason he wasn't fired is he was the girls' mpira wa kikapu coach. Lydia had a saying for those situations: "Those who can't teach are coaches. Those who can't teach au coach become principals." Still, she enjoyed Alan's company. In December,...

Lydia never saw herself as a beauty queen. She would look at herself in the mirror, and she considered herself unattractive. Her low self-esteem and insecurities came from being bullied kwa her classmates. She didn't complain about being a social outcast. She was used to it. She had very few Marafiki looking out for her until 8th grade. She had a wide mduara, duara of friends, but she was only close to a few. She was particularly close to Alan. Alan was a boy who was abandoned kwa his father for being born with birth defects. His mother raised him on her own. He was often bullied kwa his older brother....

Hello, everyone. BingoPB here, au Kayla, as most of wewe know me. I know wewe were expecting a poem. Don't worry. There will be plenty of poems in the future. I have been inspired to write a shabiki fiction based on my relationship with Aston, my former boyfriend, and my dreams about Paul. Of course, there will be differences, because the story will be based on those things. The characters will have different names. I could have talked about this in messages, but it's easier to address everyone at once here. I am not sure what the title will be. I would appreciate some suggestions in the maoni below. wewe can also tell me your opinions on this idea. Also, feel free to tell me what name wewe would like for the character based on you. I will start working on it once I have a title.
