I heard somewhere they did that to make mashabiki scratch their heads! :D They leaked 2 pictures (Blair kissing Chuck, Blair kissing Nate), so mashabiki wouldn't know who will she end up with. And I guess they also filmed this, so mashabiki wouldn't know! :D

Yeah, I saw her wiping her mouth but I think that was like joke! It looked like joke! :D

Well i'm not sure but they could have film it because they were thinking of an alternative ending au maybe to fool us.

The writers wanted to film two endings.
