I have to say.... i wasnt looking mbele to this episode as much as i have been with the awali episodes this season ...but surprisingly ... it turned out to be really great!

I was sure that there wouldnt be any b+c scenes for us blair and chuck shippers but even though they didnt have hardly any it did however have plenty of refrences to keep me satisfied!

To start with let me tell ya about this first and pretty much only actuall b+c scene of the episode. It was at school, chuck came up to blair while she was with her posse on the steps and he hands her a file containing info on the new transfer girl... she takes this oppertunity to blab about how she wont have any trouble finding dates this mwaka because her and "the lord" are happier than ever ... while she does this chuck just looks at her ... I upendo this scene because of that very thing, the way chuck looks at her! His look says it all, its like he is thinking go ahead say whatever wewe need to say to make yourself sound good to me .. its so obvious wewe know wewe want me !! haha well at least that is my interpritaion of what he was thinking.

Anyways, other than that one sole scene there were many small refrences to the b+c relationship. To start off with when blair and serena are walking in the hall toegther blair is telling her that she need to make dan jelous b/c that is how to get him back she says " why do wewe think i do it to chuck every chance i get"... and this is so true, like i have been saying this whole time, she is only being with marcus so she can have someone to make chuck jelous with!

Another reference i found, au shall i say interpreted to be a reference, is also my inayopendelewa scene of the episode tonight. It is when vannessa comes to blair and shows her the picture of marcus with catherine (by the way ... lets just get it out there ... um how gross is that!)... even though this scene has nothing to do with b+c i still felt a presence of their relationship in this scene when blair is crying it was like those arent tears for marcus ... she never really loved him... and yes she was worried about what people would think if they found out ... but most of all i think those tears were because of her upendo for chuck! I think this because marcus, like she alisema was a way to get to chuck, and now clearly that wouldnt be an option anymore, also because like i alisema before she was worried about what people would think but especially what chuck would think.

The last refernce to them was in one of the closing scenes of the episode when chuck is with the new girl talking about how he set the whole thing up between newgirl/dan/serena... the new girls says "i dont get it ... why did wewe want me to do this" chuck's response is something along the lines of how he needs to get the old serena back to dethrown the queen! and im thinking the same thing the new girl asks at this point... which is : why do wewe care who is the queen?.. And that is when it hit me he was doing all this to get to blair .... i was thinking about it the first time she got with chuck was when she was all depressed about nate dumping her and how she wasnt the Queen anymore b/c at that time jenny was threatening to take her spot... maybe this is chucks way of getting her back in that position so that she will hopefully go back to him in hopes of comfort..like last time!

Well... my final thoughts about this episode .. is that i was very pleased with the b+c the writers gave us.. dont get me wrong i upendo it way zaidi when they are actually together because their chemistry off the charts.. but i take what i can get and i think the writers did a fairly good job of keeping us blair and chuck shippers satisfied!
