Ennis had no idea Alma had known about his affair with Jack prior to their divorce. Prior to their divorce, Lurleen had no idea that Jack was gay and involved in an extramarital affair with Ennis. Alma and Lurleen had found out they had things in common because their husbands were gay and had left them for each other. Ennis knew his brother and sister were shocked he was gay and had left Alma to be with his lover. “Hi, Shawn! Yeah, I’m doing good! Why do wewe and Ashley want to talk to me?” alisema Ennis.
“Of course, Ennis! Ashley and I want to talk to you!” alisema his brother Shawn.
Shawn and Ashley Del Mar had raised their brother Ennis ever since their parents had died in a car accident going nyumbani from a party and Ennis had been nyumbani with the babysitter. What Ennis was scared about was his high school reunion coming up and he told his classmates who asked him if he was attending that he was gay and had been living with his partner after he divorced his wife. “I realized it after Jack and I kissed the first time. Jack wanted us to be together after we started but I was scared. I feared for my life so I married Alma and had our children. Every time we wanted to see each other we’d communicate kwa postcards yet Jack and I lied to our wives because we would tell them we’d be going on fishing trips when in reality we were having our affair. As the time went on, I realized that I wanted to be with Jack and have a life together. We decided we would tell our wives that we wanted a divorce because we were having an affair and wanted to be with each other. I told my wife and Jack told his wife that we had been having an affair so we divorced them and got custody of our respective children. After that, Jack and I decided we wanted to have children of our own so we used surrogates to carry them for us.” Ennis explained.
“Wow! Where is your partner?” they asked.
“He’s at home!” alisema Ennis.
Jack knew that Ennis was worried about how his hometown would react if they knew he was gay and involved with Jack. He had no idea that Ennis was about to call nyumbani and explain that the reaction was not what he expected it to be. “Jack? It’s me!” alisema Ennis.

Jack was glad Ennis had been accepted as being gay yet at the same time he still worried about how his hometown would react. Ennis assured Jack that he would be accepted for who he was. Ennis had no idea his siblings wanted to meet his long-lost sons who Alma had aliyopewa up for adoption without his knowledge. Since he had been an only child, Jack knew that he did not have to worry about it yet he was worried for his husband. Ennis assured Jack that he was fine dealing with Shawn and Ashley but Jack didn’t want to leave him alone.
Ennis assured him everything would be alright so Jack took his children somewhere they could relax. As he left their nyumbani where his husband would be, he started wondering what would happen if he hadn’t been an only child. Jack started figuring out what he would get Ennis for their anniversary.
