I've got an 18th birthday soon and I'm intending to go as Buffy. I've never watched the onyesha so I'm looking for some costume advice from devoted fans.

in answer to Cinders' swali it's mainly to piss off my Marafiki who are into to this whole regency thing. My Marafiki 18th was a pride and prejudice and zombies theme.

Don't forget to wear the kuvuka, msalaba mkufu and the claudaugh ring (if wewe can get it). Also, carry a stake.

Buffy's wardrobe is all about simplicity. Of course her shoes aren't always sensible for slaying but hey, that's her perogative. Her clothes vary from fight to fight but the thing to remember is the art of layering.

The basics:
Lots of leather au denim for jackets, jeans, tank tops are big topped with a blouse au fahion mbele tee. Shoes are a little bit different, go for either a pair of black boots with a thicker heel au some other dressy/comfortable shoes.
