hujambo everyone (as always). I just can't resist uandishi an makala now, just because I want to share something with you. The whole meaning of this story is to make wewe think and inspire you. Yesterday I was coming nyumbani from a walk, it was a quite cold autumn evening, the coldness often starts suddenly, one siku it's still pretty warm and sunny, but the inayofuata siku wewe already get first snow... So I was just climbing the long stairs to my 5th floor apartment when I saw a little butterfly, kipepeo on the inside of a window. Someone had opened a window and butterfly, kipepeo flew in, it looked a bit weak since it has just came inside from very cold and windy outside, it just sat on that small window shelf in still a quite cool and dirty staircase. It happens almost every year, in the first cold autumn days, freezing butterflies fly into houses, looking for a shelter. Every au every sekunde year, since I was 5 years old I find at least one on a staircase window, and I always try to take them to the warmth and comfort of my apartment and take care of them, otherwise they would die very soon. Sometimes they even doesn't start to songesha after I take them in, sometimes they live in my nyumbani for a few months, probably it depends on how much time they have spent in cold and windy places, before I find them. What else could I do again? I took it up to my apartment and placed on the jikoni table, around 20 dakika later it started to songesha and fly around my apartment until it sat on the ceiling of my room and fell asleep. I cooked some syrup soaked paper towel for when it will wake up and might be hungry. I usually feed butterflies with nectar from my mum's orchids, au some sugar syrup, sweet juisi au fruit. This morning it woke up and started to fly around my room, right now it's flying around curtains and sometimes sitting on my bed. What would happen if I didn't notice it in a staircase? Usually people are so busy and careless that they doesn't even notice things like that, au just take a quick look and continue their busy everyday run, leaving a little creature die from cold and hunger. That's a small thing, a little insect, a little life, but there is nothing that can be zaidi important than small things, even a little life wewe can save. ❤️
Added some pictures of that butterfly, kipepeo (the one on white curtains), and butterfly, kipepeo I had last mwaka (on machungwa, chungwa curtains). I know that my new butterfly, kipepeo looks black in pictures, I have a quite bad lighting so wewe can't see beautiful machungwa, chungwa patterns on it's wings, but maybe I will take better pictures soon. 🦋
