A few hours later Evan was back home. He was in his study working on his strategy to get Erin out of jail. He know he couldn’t defend her himself, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t give Daniel a hand. His computer was on and a word document was opened. He’d already typed in a large text when suddenly it got deleted and a message in big letters appeared instead.
I AM DEAD!
Evan deleted the message and recovered his original article. Erin sighed frustrated, but Evan didn’t see nor hear her. She walked to the radio and played a song. Evan frowned when he recognized the song. It was the song they had danced to on their first date.
He stood and walked to the radio which he turned off. He looked around to see if anyone’s in the house.
“If this is your idea of a joke, I can tell wewe it’s not funny” he shouted. He saw his computer floating above his desk. “What the hell?” he mumbled weak before it was smashed against the wall. Erin was losing it and she started throwing things at him. Evan ducked and ran into a different room.
There was a computer there, too and he quickly turned it on. Something told him the power would go off any minute, so he had to act fast.
He didn’t want to believe it. It was impossible. He was a rational man. He didn’t believe in such nonsense. And yet, all signs pointed to only one possibility.
He opened Google and typed in ‘Ghosts’ and a orodha of viungo appeared. He scrolled down until he found a link saying ‘Bothered kwa ghosts? Ghost facers are at your service’ Evan clicked the link and read the page. He had to give his address and phone number and some information.
Right after he sent a message the power went off.
