Warrior Cats
    RiverClan View
    Chapter One
Leopardstar came padding out of her den. Her golden spotted fur, manyoya glittered in the early sunlight. She glanced around the camp. Wait, where is Stormfur? He has to run the Hunting patrols with Mistyfoot, the she-cat thought to herself. She looked out for a gray tom with amber eyes and the son of Graystripe and Silverstream. However, Graystripe had left RiverClan back to his nyumbani Clan to ThunderClan and well, sweet Silverstream passed away. Leopardstar looked for her deputy. She was with other Cats at the entrance.
The golden she-cat padded towards Mistyfoot, a gray she-cat with blue eyes, and three to four other cats. Leopardstar was confused. She narrowed her eyes at Mistyfoot then looked over to the Warriors den. Where was that Stormfur?
“Looking for someone, Leopardstar?” Mistyfoot asked, blue eyes clouded with worry. She shook her head. “I cannot find Stormfur anywhere. Nor his sister.”
“His…sister?” Leopardstar asked. Then she nodded. “Ah, Feathertail. She is a lucky cat to have a brother like Stormfur to protect her like that.”
Mistyfoot, again, shook her gray head with sadness. “No, that is not what I meant. I cannot find them anywhere. Anyways, we better be going.”
Leopardstar did a small nod and turned away. The leader padded to the Medicine cat’s den. She needed to speak with Mudfur and his apprentice, Mothwing. Mothwing was from a rogue mother and Tigerstar, the cruel now dead leader of ShadowClan. He and Leopardstar made an agreement of creating LionClan and TigerClan once more. She had no power over her Clan, but she regretted it. She Lost so many Cats from Tigerstar’s friends. Blackfoot and Darkstripe killed Stonefur in front of the small Stormkit, Stormfur, and Featherkit, Feathertail, not too long ago. Leopardstar shook the terrible thoughts away and came back to today.
As she reached the pango of Mudfur’s, she sighed and cleared her thoughts. Her ears pounded with blood rushing through her veins. She then called out. Mudfur called back, “Come in!” Leopardstar came in. She sat down near a nest. She nodded to Mothwing as the apprentice carried old herbs au used herbs. Mothwing nodded back and went out of the den.
“Mudfur! I need to talk to you!” Then added to herself, “Privately.”
The old medicine cat came padding in the main den. His long light brown fur, manyoya was Tangled in a mess as if he did not get any sleep at night. His amber eyes met hers. Leopardstar’s eyes were filled with pain and regretting. She shook her head in silence. He stared at her blankly.
“What is it?” he asked, tipping his head to one side just lightly.
“Stormfur,” she murmured. “We cannot find him anywhere.”
Mudfur nodded ever so slightly. “I know.”
Leopardstar looked up from staring down at her paws. She shifted them in silence. She looked confused but hurt inside. “Wha-What do wewe mean, Mudfur?”
Mudfur seemed to almost laugh to himself. His eyes were bright and his fur, manyoya was now untangled as he gently groomed it. He did not answer the leader. He bathed himself, getting rid of the snarls in his pelt. He sighed after he was finished. He looked up at the leader. He looked down, closing his eyes.
“As the time grows near, she will leave and he will follow to the big lake and there they will find Midnight,” he alisema ever so quiet. Leopardstar perked her ears. She then narrowed her eyes and ears folded backward.
“What do wewe mean?”
He looked up, eyes reopening. “I mean,” he mewed, “I knew this siku would come.”
Leopardstar perked her ears and her eyes widened. “That is it! I am blaming Firestar. He aliiba these two from us because of Graystripe. I will send a patrol to their camp and they will regret the siku Firestar ever set a paw on this territory!”

Meanwhile, Mistyfoot and her patrol of three to four other Cats padded to the river for some samaki to catch. She sat down near the bank, careful of her paws. They were close to ThunderClan territory near Sunning rocks, which RiverClan would reclaim someday. She grew her voice down.
“Alright, Heavystep, wewe over there on the far bank. And you, Mosspelt over to the right and well, Hawkfrost, wewe know the rest,” Mistyfoot explained to them. She watched as the Cats got into position. Mistyfoot watched as Mosspelt did one songesha wrong while catching her kill, slipped, and fell in the risen water. Mistyfoot knew the river rose because of what rain they had, but she knew RiverClan knew better enough to know not to miss one move.
Hawkfrost njiwa in. As his head bobbed up, his eyes widened with fear. The river started carrying him away. Mosspelt got herself out on her own. Mistyfoot watched in horror as the dark brown tom was carried away kwa the river. Mistyfoot’s glance went to Heavystep. The older tom rushed toward Hawkfrost, yelling directions. Hawkfrost was too frightened to understand anything. Mistyfoot ran over to Mosspelt. The small tortoiseshell already knew to wash herself clean. Mistyfoot nodded then came up to Heavystep.
The deputy shook her head. “This isn’t going to help! Heavystep, help Mosspelt back to camp. I’ll get Hawkfrost out. Poor tom.” Mistyfoot njiwa in as Heavystep and Mosspelt padded back to camp. Mistyfoot’s lungs screamed for the fresh air, as she couldn’t get back up from underwater. The river had risen too much and was fighting back with the cats. Hawkfrost was out of sight from underwater. Mistyfoot’s eyes began to burn as she kept them open.
She gasped for breath as she came up to the surface. Hawkfrost was right in front of her. Mistyfoot’s paws began to paddle. Her teeth gripped onto the tom’s neck and she dragged him to shore. She half threw half dropped him on the pwani of the grass. She gasped. She saw the tom barely breathing. He suddenly coughed up water and then he was fine. His icy blue eyes woke up and he stared at the deputy who had saved him. He nodded his thanks then got to grooming. His eyes were calm. Mistyfoot didn’t understand how but didn’t care. She began washing her pelt off too. Then the two began heading back to camp. Then, the deputy fell on Hawkfrost’s strong shoulders.

Days later, Mistyfoot was all right after plenty of rest and washing up. She started to feel water. She flickered her eyes opened as something poked her side, not poked, jabbed, her side. She woke with a start. She saw the camp flooding. A kit was squealing in pain. Mistyfoot found no one else was in camp. She found out that her bedding was poking her with a thorn in it. Mudfur and Mothwing had left along with the others. She saw the camp was flooding with water. The moon shone above. Half formed half buried in darkness, just like Mistyfoot’s eyesight. She thought she had heard a kit. She searched a way out. Then, she heard the kit again.
“Where are you?” Mistyfoot called to the darkness.
“Please! Over here! In the brambles!” the voice mewed loudly.
Mistyfoot quickly headed for the brambles. She saw a tiny kit stuck in some brambles. Mistyfoot helped the kit out. The kit was small but scared. He gasped for breath.
“Where…is your mother? Well, never mind that, we must get out of here!” Mistyfoot took the kit’s scruff and ran out. She followed a long, narrow path. She founded herself near WindClan territory. She heard her name and ran over. As she came over with the small kit in her mouth, hisses came across RiverClan. Leopardstar’s eyes glowed with anger.
“Why have wewe brought a WindClan kit here?” the leader hissed.
WindClan? Then Mistyfoot knew why this kit smelt different. She dropped the kit at her paws. She shook her head. “I’m…I’m sorry. I was woken up in the Medicine cat’s pango alone, I heard squealing, and this kit was half drowned and half stuck in some brambles. And he didn’t have any scent on him because of the river’s waters. So, I didn’t know.”
Leopardstar sighed. “Since it is a kit, wewe are safe. This kit must go back to WindClan…now.”
Mistyfoot’s pelt was soaked from the flooding. She was on high grounds now, salama from the flooding. Mothwing was working on any overreacting Cats au frightened. Mistyfoot sighed.
“Since I am the one who saved this kit and found it. I will take him back to his Clan,” the gray she-cat meowed.
Leopardstar suddenly shook her head. “It’s night, Mistyfoot, we must not. Wait until dawn. Then wewe may leave…alone.” The leader turned and slept alone in a small corner of the high ground. Every cat settled down and fell asleep. The kit at Mistyfoot’s paws was still and shivering. Mistyfoot bent down and gently smoothed his fur, manyoya and calmed him down. She laid down and the kit cuddled close to her warm body. In no time, both of them were asleep.

inayofuata morning, Mistyfoot woke herself and the kit and the two left the high land to WindClan’s camp. The kit was carried in Mistyfoot’s mouth since he was too little to walk that long of a ways. She soon reached the entrance. She felt unwelcome, but with a kit, she knew that she just had to drop the kit off then leave.
“Mistyfoot?” the guard growled. “The missing kit! Go in. Tallstar will be pleased.”
The deputy nodded and went in. She put the kit down. A mother came out of the nursery to the kit at Mistyfoot’s paws. The cat was still unknown to Mistyfoot but it didn’t matter. The kit was carried off in the mother’s mouth kwa the scruff. Tallstar came out. He saw Mistyfoot and hissed.
“Why have wewe come?” he growled.
“I brought your missing kit back,” she answered calmly.
“No wewe didn’t,” he snapped.
The guarding cat came into the camp. “Yes she did Tallstar. The kit’s mother probably brought the kit back into the nursery.”
Mistyfoot nodded. “It’s true Tallstar. I make no lies.”
Tallstar nodded. “Very well. Mistyfoot, wewe may leave.”
Mistyfoot turned and walked out. Her pelt brushed upon the guard cat’s pelt. The other WindClan cat flinched. “By the way,” he whispered, “have wewe seen Crowpaw? He’s missing too.”
Mistyfoot shook her head. “No, I haven’t. Feathertail and Stormfur are too. Let us know if wewe find the two.”
“Please, us too,” the guard said. Mistyfoot nodded and ran out of the camp, off of the territory, and back to the higher grounds with her Clan. She couldn’t believe a WindClan cat was missing also. Why? How? And where did the three Cats go anyways? She would find out. She just knew she would. Even if it killed the two Clans.
