Help with Christianity!

I used to go to Church every single Sunday and I prayed often and truly loved God. My parents aren't believers so my Grandfather took me to Church. When I was 8, he died. Me and him were extremely close and I couldn't understand why God would take him away from me. After that, I rebelled against God. I thought he didn't upendo me, so he didn't exist. I told people I didn't believe in him. I'm now 13 and I had a dream with Jesus in it. I saw Jesus and my Grandfather in heaven and saw they were happy. I now want to go back to God and let him help me through my life but I am scared he will not take me back. Can anyone give me advice?

I thank everyone. I'm praying often and am going to visit the local Church to find out times when I can attend. :)

if wewe wewe are repentful of sin, and if wewe truely upendo him, and wewe DO want to return to him, then he will take wewe back. god LOVES an honest person. always remeber this.

Christianity Majibu

Cinders said:
God will always take wewe back. The only thing that would prevent a warm welcome back into the fold is you, not Him.

The absolute best part about God is His absolute willingness to forgive all sins, and all people, so long as they are truly repentant. He knows you, better than anyone, and He knows and understands your reasons for leaving the Church. But most of all, He knows how sorry wewe are, and how much wewe still want to know Him, and He loves wewe all the zaidi for it.

I have to confess, however, that I do not identify as Christian myself. However, I know that this is the advice that any true Christian would give you, and while I would normally stand back and let those good people answer your question, I just felt compelled to reassure wewe that wewe are loved, kwa God and kwa your family, and wewe always will be. wewe should never have any doubts about that. But, of course, we all do. We all doubt. The important thing is that no matter how far we stray, we always come nyumbani again.

Though these words come from the mouth of an Agnostic Christianity fan, I truly mean them with all my heart: God bless.

I agree, repent! If wewe repent, wewe will be forgiven, as long as wewe truly are sorry :)

Of corse God will forgive you.He is a loving and forgiving God.He loves you.He is your spiritual father and wewe are his child. You will see your grandfather agin when wewe get to heaven and I am sure he will greet wewe when its your time.I too believe God was giving wewe a message in your dream that your grandfather is very happy in heaven. This world that we live in is not our true home, our true nyumbani is in heaven with jesus. My father past away last mwaka and I too had a dream that I saw him in heaven. It made me very happy to know he is happy.I say to myself if I had the choice to have my father back alive agin I wouldnt take it.Not that I dont want to see him agin but in heaven their is no pain,no suffering,no worrying about bills being paid,or working 40 hours a week,my father is at peace and so is your grandfather.you will see him agin in heaven.

I'm sorry about your grandfather. But remember the story of the prodigal son. imagine wewe as the son and God as his father. your dream might mean that Jesus wants wewe to come back. God is merciful.
