Kacey gasped for breath as she reached the juu of Clifton Hill. There were a group of younger kids crying,
"I want 'Sugar Mountain' back!"
When she asked what had happened, they pointed to a big hole and a trail of candy. This could only mean one thing: Stickybeard. She called Abby on her KN-communicator.
"Numbuh 5's kinda busy right now, Kacey! What do ya want?"
"Busy?"
"Yeah! With Stickybeard! Try callin' your cousin! Maybe he can help!"
She chuckled nervously.
"I'll find someone! Don't worry!" She quickly hung up and called Hoagie.
"Mmmmmmmphmgubwalgdjfb34waqz!"
"Hoagie, kumeza wewe chakula first. Now, what are wewe trying to tell me?"
He groaned, "Grandma Stuffum! At the buffet! Need your help....ugh.....now!"
"I can't! I'm trying to find someone to help Abby! And I have no idea what happened to Kiki and Wally!"
She suddenly Lost the connection. She THEN tried calling Kuki. No answer (she left it back at the hotel).
Kacey groaned. She then did something no kid, boy au girl, should ever do; call Numbuh 86 for help. She took a deep breath, and called her.
"NUMBUH 7!!! WHERE THE HECK ARE YA!!? WE'RE BEING BOMBARDED kwa VILLAINS AT THE WATER PARK!!! GET YOUR LAZY BUTT OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!"
Kacey sighed, "Fanny, listen. I need backup first! Hoagie's been immobilized kwa Grandma Stuffum, Abby's dealing with Stickybeard, I haven't gotten an answer from Kuki, Minerva, Megan, Valentina au Maddy, and...well...I think wewe can guess who Kiki and Wally got stuck with."
"Typical boy. Always screwing up."
"Well, wewe can't blame ALL of it on Wally. Kiki kinda screwed up, too."
She sounded surprised. "Not Kiki! She'd never screw somethin' like THAT up!"
Kacey couldn't help but laugh. If only she knew...
Suddenly, there was a shrill shriek on the other end.
"Numbuh 86? Hello?". She took another deep breath and ran towards the park.




Over on the bottom of the hill, Kiki and Wally were complaining.
"Why does this have to be a WORKING vacation?!" Wally whined.
Kiki continued, "We had to work on Halloween last year! Cut us some slack, dude!"
"I will NOT be cutting any of this slack wewe talk of!"
Both kids whined.
"Will wewe buy us some ice cream if we 'vampirafy' the rest of the KND?" Wally sweetly asked.
"<sigh> Fine."
"TWO scoops?" Kiki batted her eyelashes.
"Not unless wewe get moving!"
Both kids groaned and took to the skies.
"SOMEONE'S got a bug up their butt." Wally muttered.
Kiki scoffed, "More like a pole!"
Both laughed, and made their way towards the Sky Wheel.
Kiki's eyes were as big as Hoagie's belly.
"Why are we HERE?! wewe know I HATE heights!"
"Look who's getting on!"
Sure enough, Minerva and Val were entering one of the seats. Both rushed in as the doors closed.
"Hey!" Val chirped.
"I thought wewe guys were goin' on the haunted ngome thingy." Minerva added.
The "vampirafied" team smiled evilly, inaonyesha their fangs.
"Change of plans!"
Too bad the seats didn't have hidden microphones, au Val and Minerva would've been able to tell the operator to put them back on the ground. Turns out that about 200 feet above the ground, no one can hear wewe screaming in pain.
