At King's Fried Rice, Rob and Mark met up with seven other racers. William had a big race set for them.
William: Okay. The nine of wewe will race three laps around Fairground Park. wewe will go around the park clockwise, so if wewe turn right instead of left when wewe get on North Grand Boulevard, wewe will be going the wrong way.
Rob: I think we got it.
William: Then good luck.
The racers walked towards their cars.
Mark: Were wewe able to make any upgrades?
Rob: Just some new tires, and I removed the bumpers. There wasn't much time to do anything else.
Mark: William alisema they're high performance. Some upgrades were probably already made.
Rob: We'll see who has the better upgrades. *Shakes Mark's hand* Good luck.
Mark: wewe too.
After 15 seconds, Hilary was standing in front of the others with a green flag.
Hilary: Ready! Set! Go!
Rob: *Takes off with the other racers*
They all turned left, and began racing each other around the park.
Plymouth Lady 57: *Honks her horn at the nine racers passing her*
Rob: *Turns right*
Mark: He's in front of everyone, again. *Drifts to the right*
At Beaumont High School
English Teacher: *Watching his students take a test. He hears the cars, and looks out the window*
Student 54: I can't concentrate with that noise.
English Teacher: There were only nine of them. I don't think they'll pass through here again.
Racer 9: *Driving a brand new Thunderbird. He turns right*
Racer 63: Where the hell is he going?
Racer 9: *Stops inayofuata to a police car* Rob's there, and so is Mark.
Cop 98: We got 'em this time. *Turns on his sirens as he turns around to follow the Thunderbird*
Racer 9: *Heading North*
Rob: *Going 100 miles an saa on Fair Avenue* Must be my lucky siku with traffic. It's holding the others back for me.
Racer 9: *Stops with Cop 98 on Lee Avenue*
Cop 98: *Gets out with a megaphone, and looks at the cars stopping around them* This is a roadblock, in an attempt to stop illegal mitaani, mtaa racers. Please remain seated in your cars until aliyopewa further instructions.
Rob and Mark just turned onto Lee Avenue. Mark was slowly catching up to Rob.
Cop 98: *Talking on the radio* The roadblock at Lee and Prairie is set. We'll contact wewe again when the two of them are captured.
Police HQ: Acknowledged. Good luck.
Rob: *Sees the cars stopped in front of them* Perhaps it's better to go on Kossuth Avenue. *Turns right onto Clay Avenue*
Mark: Ha! The race is mine! *Driving on the right side of the road*
It was going well for Mark, until...
Lady 56: *In front of Mark, in a Chrysler*
Mark: *His eyes are wide open as he brakes, but he's still going too fast. He hits the lady's car, and goes airborne, landing on the roof*
Police: *Running towards Mark*
Cop 98: Mark Whitaker has crashed, I repeat, Mark Whitaker has crashed. We need an ambulance, and tow truck right away.
HQ: 10-4, what about Rob Daley?
Cop 98: No sign of him yet. We probably won't even see him again.
