The writers, have made her basically be Stella just with a different name and person playing her....she acts and presumes to know Mac when she just moved to town and just astarted working with him, and have made her the leading lady which makes no since....i think they should have moved Lindsey to that role and made Jo equal to the rest of the team and let her charadcter grow on us versus pushing her onto us and onto Mac. Plus she is a very bland boring charcter who doesn't bring anything to the show beside a slight southern accent which gets old quick since she is always talking about it.

i totally agree with you she is so boring and of coursi she doesn't fit to csi new york like stella did... i want stella back and i hope that the producers will regret their decision to let melina kanakaredes leave and bring her back...

well, i agree with the lindsay part. basically cuz she's my fave and we alreadyy knew her. and the fact that Jo, acts like she knows mac pisses me off 'cuz we know who knows mac and that's stella.. ONLY stella. so i agree.:))

Part of my family is from Texas, so I know about Southern drawls. Also, I think she was pretty good when she was on "House". I'm glad she is on the show. Yes, I miss Stella, but I like Jo, too.

i have to disagree with your reasoning. first of i like to say i dont like or dislike jo. my feeling for her are completely platonic, cos we have only known her for like 11 episode. i dont know much about her. i feel that jo is not like stella at all in terms of personality. the way she handles thing is always in a very gentle and light manner which makes the show more fun and interesting. even though she has some personality traits that match stella, i think it is necessary in this case, as some traits that stella had complimented mac and therefore, was sort of necessary for her to have those traits but other than that, i think jo is fitting in fine and is actually quite refreshing to have a new team member.

I agree, accept the Lindsay part. I think they should move Danny up. He's been on the show longer, it would make more sense. I wouldn't mind if it was Lindsay, don't get me wrong, I love all of them. But Jo ... yuk.
Maybe Sid can take her to his creepy place, that would be fun to watch. :)
