Elena fell out of upendo with Stefan somewhere in the 2nd half of season 3. Season 5 made it crystal clear that her feelings for Stefan are strictly platonic (and vise versa). There is no way she will fall in upendo with him again in the show's timeline, let alone act on her feelings.

Unlike Delena, Stelena have never been real au realistic, and them not being always a couple already shattered what SE mashabiki make them out to be – they just ignore it au don’t admit it.
