1)Before wewe start, wewe need a storyline
uandishi a story requires planning. Think of a general storyline. The worst thing wewe can do is start uandishi and go with the flow. ‘Cause wewe don’t know where you’ll end up. Most importantly, before wewe begin, wewe need to know how wewe want the story to end. Think of zaidi than one storyline and let them flow together. If you’re a good writer, that shouldn’t be a problem.
2)Official characters/Own character
Obviously the main characters of your story are going to be Damon and Elena. But wewe should spend some time to the other characters as well. If wewe can’t make certain characters likeable, then wewe should try to make them interesting, but don’t pretend they don’t exist. They could be very useful for your story. wewe can also add your own characters, but only if you’re certain they will serve the story. Otherwise they’re just a waste of page space.
3)Set a for your story
Decide how many chapters wewe want to spend. For example: all my shabiki fictions contain 22 chapters and I manage to get the story told in those 22 chapters.
Everything wewe didn’t get to tell in your first story, wewe can write in a sequel. I’m uandishi my sekunde DE story and I’m planning on at least two more.
4)Don’t ask people what they want in the story
wewe need to ask yourself a question: do wewe want to write a good story au do wewe want to please the fans? If you’re a true DE fan, then what wewe want is bound to be similar to what the mashabiki want. Besides, readers aren’t writers. You’re in control of the story, wewe call the shots.
5)Defining scenes
You’re uandishi DE, so wewe should add some of the scenes that define them, such as jikoni scenes, bedroom scenes, mkufu scenes, road trips, …
6)Don’t rush the story
Again, you’re uandishi DE, so take it slow. If you’re going to have them jump each other’s Bones in the first chapter it’s way too fast and they’re not any different then SE. One of the greatest things about DE is their journey.
7)Don’t be afraid to ask help
Like I alisema before, you’re in control of the story. But that doesn’t mean wewe can’t ask people for help. Just make sure wewe ask it of people who know what they’re doing.
8)Write real scenes
Some people simply write that they saw on the show, as if their uandishi the onyesha in a book. That's not writing, that's describing the scenes that were written kwa someone else. It's cheap and everyone can do it.
9)Be bold
wewe have an awesome idea, but you're afraid of people's reactions? Don't be. Just go for it. And if they don't like it, sucks for them.
Any zaidi tips? Say it in the maoni and I’ll add them to the list. Credits will be given.
