Pfft. Like it wasn't obvious. What is meant to be NEVER end, it won't end but I only speak for myself not the writers. Stefan & Elena rushed into it like that, in a blink of an eye they are already in “I love you, OMG I love you too” please! But the relationship she shares with Damon goes to a whole new level, they are both step by step finding the witnesses in each other, bringing out the darkest, scariest part that they share with no one else and at that they are slowly building up a foundation on 'understanding' and trust. And as that relationship grows step by step, it develops into something deep, dark, emotional & ETERNAL BITCHES!
Love it or not, their relationship will be eternal even if they end up living the same Romeo & Juliet tragedy.
And like I said I only speak for myself not the plot writer.
