As requested by the majority of the people that commented on the last pick, and something I agree with, you have to comment for me to take your answer seriously. I couldn't believe the last round that Bad Moon Rising went out, and I definately can't honestly take seriously that people are voting out 2x01, the episode that is responsible for ALL THE SCENES that came afterwards, throughout S2. It has to be said and maybe you will hate me for it, but: if you are looking for a couple that majority of the time is fluffy, and you aren't a fan of angst, then DE is not the couple you should be shipping, NOT DE. A true DE fan wouldn't pick 2x01, because as I've said, it's one in a long line of episodes that defines what the DE relationship is all about and therefore because of it, the episode that came runner up in the last round, "The Last Dance" was taken out of the running.

So as of now: unless I see people commenting and explaining why they don't like an episode for a particular reason, then the so-called episode nominated runs the risk of being in the next round.

As of this, so I'm not a hypocrite, I will explain why I chose this episode: although we had DE in this episode, I felt that, in a sense, their scenes were a bit pointless, like just a pointless plot device IMO. The only thing I felt this episode gave was that it helped us achieve the amazingness that is DE in 2x21 and 2x22.

Besides the "i can't lose you" they didn't really have alot of signifigant scenes.

@ katie I do like angst, I hate fluffy couples etc but killing Elena's BROTHER was out of line. It's not angst anymore, it was just too much...sorry, but if someone tried to kill my brother, while I stand there & watch, I would NEVER forgive this person. Not to mention fall in love/start a relationship. So I find it really impossible that Elena kinda got over it lol...
I know this episode defined DE relationship for season 2...and I didn't like the direction they took. I know they wanted to slow DE down, but killing your beloved brother? It's not something someone's able to forgive. But I kinda got used to the fact that Elena's not exactly a normal human being lol xD

@katie, I agree with Magda ( Madelayna ) killing JEremy was out of like, making out wth Katherine wasn;t any better!! It does deserve to be out, cuz there were better episodes!

I do love angst, I really do. And it's one of the biggest reasons why I ship DE.
And I do love this episode. But some parts of their heartbreaking scene were painful to watch for me. Him trying to kiss her and her pushing him away, saying that it always gonna be Stefan... I guess, it was a little bit to much for me. But overall, as I said, I love the episode (especially Elena saying that she hates Damon right after Katherine said that hate is only a beginning of a love story and Damon's line about Elena lying to herself ). I just love other episodes more.

@ katie15 I respect your opinion and understand that you don't want the episode that you love to go out. But I think you can't say than somebody isn't a true DE fan if they don't agree with you at this point. I guess, we just see some scenes in a different light.

I'm really suprised that 2x01 is getting so many votes & even more suprised that 2x18 is gone when they are 2 AMAZING DE episodes.
I'm choosing 2x20 because it really only had 1 DE scene (which I loved) while 2x01 basically was all about DE. Honestly I think 2x20 & 2x12 should've been gone before 2x18 & should be gone before 2x01.

and 2x01 needed to happen to move there relationship forward to show even him doing somwthing that bad could make elena forgive him. And i mean i know killing her borther was bad but remeber this is TV people. And what does kissing katherine have anything to do with it?
also yeah why is 2x18 out before this one.

@ katie i respect your opinion but not every1 has 2 think wat u think and whoever chose the return has his POV 2, maybe ur suprised the return has been chosen but u cant tell who's a real DE fan and who isnt
