Definitely Barnabas. Burke was intriguing also, along with Willie and Quentin.

Barnabas, without a doubt. Quentin would be my second, I suppose Burke and Willie would be there too. Peter/Jeff annoyed me. Roger Davis could not convey any other emotion that anger. In every character he plays, he always seems like he's mad, for the most part, he was the most wooden thing to hit the screen since Charlie MacCarthy.

Barnabas gets my top vote, too. I also loved Quentin, Willie, Burke, Joe, Eliot Stokes, and Chris. I wish we had seen more of Chris. Jeff was freaking annoying, although I didn't mind Peter. Roger Davis played Peter a bit more subdued. No clue why, since Peter and Jeff were supposed to be the same person. lol

I'd have to say Barnabas. Quentin was very cute, but Barnabas is the one who elicits most of the sympathy in me and makes be want to watch and watch again.

Most definitely, Barnabas. There's just so much about him that is interesting; when he enters the room, your heart stops and you're left clinging to his every word. Well, that is the effect he has had on me. I was watching a scene with he and Elisabeth the other day, one where he comes back from Windcliff, and he walks into the living room behind her and Oh, my, but he looked dashing in that gray suit--very fit and trim. He was so very handsome standing in front of the fireplace, cane planted in front of him. No wonder Doc Julia had the hots for him!

Sure Barnabas reeled me in, but I wound up liking Quentin more. He was always full of life and energy. Never wanted to give up! Barnabas was to resigned to failure most times. Professor Stokes, was awesome and Brilliant, seemed to always find an answer for things. Gregory Trask, person you just love to hate! Jeff Clark was a very interesting character in the Count Petofy segment. Nicholas Blair very interesting also. The writers were very talented to mold and shape these characters to be so life-like! Thank god the writers were so brilliant to which made these characters loved and hated and some both!!! I wish these writers were still around to tell them how much I appreciated their true work of Art!!!!

The only man for me on Dark Shadows was Barnabas. But i will admit Quentin did come in a close second.
