Song kwa Lauren Evans

Saw wewe alone in the Shade
of the night,
A distant reflection I caught
in my eye
Is this real?
Cause I feel, like
you`re the one

My heart`s beatin`
faster
You`re taking my hand
You`re drawing me closer
As we start to dance
I know I`ve been Lost in your
smile
Meny times but not this
way before

Wont wewe stay ( stay )
And hold me in your
arms forever? ( ever )

Don`t want this night to
fade away ( fade away )
I thought my eyes were
closed but I,

I`m in a dream
awake, I`m in a
dream awake.

We shine brighter than the
stars together
This night`ll never turn to
day

I thought my eyes were
closed but...

"O, then, I see Queen Mab hath been with you.
She is the fairies' midwife, and she comes
In shape no bigger than an agate-stone
On the fore-finger of an alderman,
Drawn with a team of little atomies
Athwart men's noses as they lie asleep;
Her wagon-spokes made of long spiders' legs,
The cover of the wings of grasshoppers,
The traces of the smallest spider's web,
The collars of the moonshine's watery beams,
Her whip of cricket's bone, the lash of film,
Her wagoner a small grey-coated gnat,
Not so big as a round little worm
Prick'd from the lazy finger of a maid;
Her chariot is an empty hazel-nut...

David: My dreams are a cruel joke. They taunt me. Even in my dreams I'm an idiot... who knows he's about to wake up to reality. If I could only avoid sleep. But I can't. I try to tell myself what to dream. I try to dream that I am flying. Something free. It never works...

Brian: Just remember, the sweet is never as sweet without the sour, and I know the sour.

Rebecca Dearborn: Most of us live our whole lives... without any real adventure to call our own.

Rebecca Dearborn: What is any life without the pursuit of a dream?

Brian: wewe will never know the exquisite pain of the guy, who goes nyumbani alone.

Edmund: It's been a brilliant journey of self-awakening.

David: I want to live a real life... I don't want to dream any longer.

Sofía: Open your eyes. Open your eyes. Open your eyes. Open your eyes. Open you...

When I daydream
I unleash a ndoto world
Where Mbwa mwitu loups greet me
And happiness unfolds.
Chocolate rivers
And marshmallow trees,
Away from the complication
That is reality.

Sitting at my desk
Staring blankly at my page,
Doodling in the margain
This classroom is a cage.
So instead I look out the window
And smile to myself,
I transport to a faraway land
With the vichimbakazi and the elves.

On earth things are ordinary
There's a word called 'impossible',
But in my world it doesn't exist
I can grow wings and fly and swirl.
I can jump up to the stars
There can be no gravity,
I control what happens
In my little world wewe see....

He is down kwa the riverside
Late one night
He’s tryin’ to count the stars
In each of the signs
All alone kwa the riverside
And time passes by
Gathering thoughts of the past
And maybe he’ll cry
So they say he’s a madman
And he don’t understand
But I know that he’s tryin’ hard
To act like a man
All those years he has suffered,
My friends
All those years of pain
But I don’t think he knows for sur
E if those years were in vain
He’s a dreamer
And he’s fightin’ for his life
He’s tryin’ to understand
He’s a dreamer
But he wants to carry on
Yet I know he’s a lonely man

I dream of floating away on a wingu
I dream of catching a falling star
I dream of my prince charming
I dream of how I'll save him from the dragon
I dream of cows on the moon
And pink grass

I dream of old ladies knitting socks
I dream the twelve Olympians are real
I dream I'll meet them someday
I dream of vast sugar cane fields
I dream of a kitanda of roses
And how prickly that must be

I dream of firefly Marafiki
I dream of a lighting bug show
I dream of riding a striped horse down the aisle
I dream of hot air balloons
I dream of polar bears
And penguins

I dream of snow
I dream of rain
I dream of summer

“All I’ve ever done is dream. That, and only that, has been the meaning of my existence. The only thing I’ve ever really cared about is my inner life. My greatest griefs faded to nothing the moment I opened the window onto my inner self and Lost myself in watching.
I never tried to be anything other than a dreamer. I never paid any attention to people who told me to go out and live. I belonged always to whatever was far from me and to whatever I could never be. Anything that was not mine, however base, always seemed to be full of poetry. The only thing I ever loved was pure nothingness.”

I saw her today,
Halfway from her land,
A shadow.
Her skirts gathered up in her hands.
She wept and her hair,
My reflection it swept.
Tears down her cheeks,
She says "Find me a way,
Oh, find me a way to wake!
My dream is too real, and its pulling me down,
And I don't know which way to take!"

I saw her again,
far from her land,
Her sobs are too loud,
She screams.
"It eats me alive,
And I cannot turn back,
I miss my home,where I was real."

I saw her a last time,
salama and content,
Too far and quiet to be true,
Her sobs are quite done,
and her cheeks are now dry,
Face calm and steady she says:
"No,no,do not wake me up,
My dream is too real for wewe to take.
I am quite content,
my world is quite real,
I am but a mist, all whispers are quiet,
And I cant ever recall myself real."

"Oh, where have wewe gone?
you were here just today
by tall ngome . . . yon
with dhahabu flowing hair
with white flowing dress
with vichimbakazi to guide you
with talisman
at your breast

Who took you?
Who managed?
to get thru the spells
to weave through your guards
all wishing
you well

The king is asunder
the Queen is in tears
the Mage casting spells
through all of his fears

but none have yet seen you
the ngome grows dim
the joy now has left us
our heads
all do swim

For all of us failed you
your joy has moved out
our knights all on quest
No rest!
do we shout

We ll find you!
We swear it!
not one of us rest
our meals now are meager...

Turn the lights on

Every night I rush to my bed
With hopes that maybe I'll get a chance to see you
When I close my eyes I'm going out of my head
Lost in a fairytale, can wewe hold my hands and be my guide?

Clouds filled with stars cover the skies
And I hope it rains, you're the perfect lullaby
What kinda dream is this?

You could be a sweet dream au a beautiful nightmare
Either way I don't wanna wake up from you
(Turn the lights on)

Sweet dream au a beautiful nightmare
Somebody pinch me, your love's too good to be true
(Turn the lights on)

My guilty pleasure, I ain't going no where
Baby long as you're here...

Do wewe siku dream of wewe in a world were their is PARIDISE,but do wewe siku dream in school then your teacher caught wewe siku dreaming.
Do wewe siku dream when your outside laying on the grass.Does peace come au go to you.
Does your DOG look like a mbwa mwitu when he au she runs in the wind like the mesteryous mist wolf.
Do wewe dream like your the forest's son au daughter and wewe feel like your born their.
When wewe look at the sun do wewe feel that your part of it.
THE END PLEASE STILL siku DREAM

THANK YOU
It was strange
how we met each other.
I knew from the first contact
that we are different from the others.

You, so unusual and sweet,
with magic in words,
wewe left me dreams.

But dreams are afraid of
reality.
Afraid of the storm
and restlessness.

The reasons are always
different, and yet the same.

Everyone wants to dream,
fearing that reality may
destroy that moment of peace,
bringing pain and empty memories,
words that have gone with breeze.

Although wewe make your peace
with reality,
wewe still dream the same dream,
while the pain smolder in you.

Everything changes,
everything fades away with time,
but wewe still dream the same dream.

The reasons are always
different, and yet the same.

In the end, wewe realize
that everything is just a dream,
everything has its end.

And while the pain smolder in you
and everything fades slowly,
wewe still dream the same dream,
wewe still dream.

In my dreams, I can escape. When everything is going wrong, I can just shut my eyes tight, and deep in my mind, my imagination will create an alternate world, a place of peace, upendo and happiness, away from the cruel anger that is near.

Imagination can take control, wewe can believe something so much, that it seems real. Like it's really happening amongst everything else, whatever it may be. It's beautiful, wonderful; it's how wewe can escape, gain freedom. Imagination is the one thing that nobody else will ever be able to control, only you.

Dreams are unlimited. We dream big, we pray in hope,...

The world is a cruel place,
the world is damned.
wewe hide your fear and
think you're safe.
But fear finds everyone
sooner au later.

wewe hide your feelings
not to be hurt.
wewe lock your heart
not to feel.
wewe choose the words
covered with lies,
since the truth might
lead to repentance.

So wewe run to where
wewe find your peace.
wewe run there to find
your comfort.

The place of your own
creation,
place full of hope,
your shelter.

In there you're alive,
in the place
of your mind.
The place where you
release all your desires,
place where wewe hide
from your own failures.

~ Dreams.
These dreams that belong to ourselves,
so sweet and creative, and yet, distant and
fragile.
Dreams.
Dreams are what keep us alive.
We all dream, even when our eyes are
wide open, we dream...
Our ndoto is as deep as a sea,
so unpredictable for others.
The dreams belong to a dreamer.
Some people would say that reality is
so far from dreams.
But these dreams are what we fight for.
Dreams never die. They will always be part
of us, even when we are sad and disappointed,
our dreams might seem foggy au even broken,
but they are part of our soul, part of our reality.
A dreamer will never forget that...
