whos linda? and BB?

Linda was a little girl who was known for being an incredibly talented artist.

BB (Beyond Birthday) was an attempt to make another successor for L -he later became a serial killer (Los Angeles: BB Murder Case), a case that L had to take on.

L-sama was very intelligent he seemed to catch on really fast and he was really smart just based on the way he went about everything-I think Near-kun would be a second though he's smart as well.

L > BB > Near >/= Mello > Matt > Linda

L. If you don't pick L (or BB) you probably didn't watch the anime, read the manga, watched the movies and played the video game.

BB as he would have won if he didn't let it slip about the Capoeira in his excitement about how he was going to beat L, if Naomi Misora took a bit longer to get there, or if she considered the idea that he might have followed her and seen the attack instead of being the attacker as it was a possibility that she didn't even consider.

It took L 3 months to track down BB but he only found BB hecause he announced his presence with the murders. L found Light a lot easier and quicker.

L only knew where BB was and that he was behind the murders as BB literally announced it.

BB was the closest besides A to L's level of intelligence.
