In April 2007 the police searched Vick's house and found evidence of dog fighting (paraphernalia and a blood-stained carpet). Animal control was contacted and 66 dogs were removed from his home. In July he was indicted and sentenced to 23 months in prison. (Full article link)

Honestly, hell no.

We wouldn't allow an abusive parent to raise another child.

Why have it be different when an animal is victimized?
