"Quit running so fast, Nita!" jimmy, hunitumia screamed.
Nita simply laughed and continued to run. She kept sprinting until she ran into Cindy. They both tumbled to the ground, laughing. jimmy, hunitumia came over and tackled them. Aurora and Phoebus casually walked over.
"You are such uncivilized people" Phoebus announced.
"Agreed, Phoebus," Aurora said.
jimmy, hunitumia piped in, "You only say that because you're a princess and son of the captain of the guards! Have some fun for once!"
A mix of voices rambled on until Cindy asked, "Who wants to go see general Shang?"
Everyone, excluding Nita, wanted to go along. Nita gave a nervous smile, but followed along with the group. To get there faster, they went through Voodoo Village, what they called it. It held the creepiest of stores and people. Their parents forbid them to go there, especially Nita's father.
They reached the start of Voodoo Village and took a pause. Nita screamed out, "Guys! I, uh, can't! My dad, remember?"
"It's no big deal," called Phoebus,"come on!"
"It's fine, guys, I'll stay with her," Cindy spoke.
Nita let a sigh of relief exit her body. Of all of Cindy's friends, Cindy was probably the closest. Aurora and Nita never particularly got along, but she enjoyed company with Phoebus and Jasmine. Nit and Cindy, though, were the best of friends. They shared every secret and talked about everything.
"I hope wewe don't mind staying with me, Cindy. I do enjoy your company," Nita told Cindy.
"Same here," Cindy responded back.
They talked about many things while waiting for the others: boys they liked, Aurora's weird hair color, and wishing they were rich. They eventually got bored waiting for them, so Cindy convinced Nita to venture into Voodoo Village.
They held hands as they skirted around the streets. Not many people were outside, and there wasn't much to do. They only saw one woman, who quite frankly needed a little zaidi clothing for the weather. But anyways, they walked up to the tan woman.
"Ah, who do I have here? My new customers; I see," Nita and Cindy jumped back with fright.
The woman grabbed one of each of their hands and said, "Do not be afraid, my children. My name is Pocahontas. It is a bit chilly outside. Come in! Come in!'
They followed her in, and Nita said, "If we don't make it out of here alive, promise me your my best friend."
"Of course, Nita. wewe are my best friend, my one and only." Cindy alisema just as they entered the dark building.
