POTM Hairstyles Countdown: ~*Jasmine*~ (February 2013)

Since I am trying to make the Princess Of The mwezi zaidi popular, this is another one of my ideas. In the end of each mwezi I'll post articles, based on the countdowns for songs, hairstyles and outfits. There everybody will have the chance to discuss whether they agree with the results, what corresponded to their expectations, and what they wish would have been different!

Once again, I will be using pictures for my articles. A few months back I would have made a detailed explanation about each result, but since the hivi karibuni changes, fanpop has been uigizaji really weird. And yes, I don't like the option of uandishi long paragraphs with text, while the pictured are all clustered in the bottom of the article! So under each picture I will be posting one comment, related to the result. So in case wewe don't want your maoni ilitumwa in my articles, please contact me!

dimitri_is_hot She had some horrendous hairstyles in the sequels so I definitely agree with the top 5 but not in that order. I love her high ponytail, I wish my hair could look like that.

PrincessAyeka12 This poll was ridiculous! What bugged me was the multiple picks for the low ponytail hairstyle with the same hair accessories (hair bands, gemstone and tiara) just re-coloured and re-shaped. Plus adding something extra like a flower doesn't automatically make it a new hairstyle. It's only called a "new hairstyle" if the hair itself is brushed and twisted or tied into a different shape or simply let loose (for loose hair)! That grey headscarf one shouldn't have been in there. It was Jafar who visited Aladdin at the execution in that grey headscarf in Jasmine's form. The real Jasmine was in Jafar's ex-Palace Lair chained to the wall. Popcornfan Most of them are really pretty. Except for the Cinderella bun, I think all of them are acceptable.

BelleAnastasia @PrincessAyeka12: You complain too much. I can call whatever I want a different hairstyle. And of course they are different hairstyles if they have different accessories. Red might suit her more than blue, that's why both options were in there. And it might have been Jafar, but he was in Jasmine's body, so technically it counts.

PociandSmith Well, I like Jasmine with hoods or scarfs. I like her original hairstyle and the high ponytale. I think she looks extremely ungly, weird and out of character in the last 2 hairstyles (cinderella, snow white) but that's mainly because of the animation which sucked.

BraBrief The ponytail won -.- Why people always love the most classic things? They are the most boring! Her loose hair deserved to win and the high ponytail is really better!

I'm happy with the winner, that's my fav too. =) @BraBrief: it's hardly the "most classic" otherwise the low ponytail with the blue tiara would have won, since it's the one she's most famous for. yeah, the winner only has an added flower accessory, but it's still a difference. and just because something is classic it does not automatically make it boring, i have a feeling you'd be saying the exact same comment if Jasmine's hair was loose for 95% of the movie and it ended up winning the countdown!

JediTroop739 I wish Jasmine would keep her hair loose because it suits her perfectly and those other hairstyles should NEVER exist and most definitely not the low ponytail because it looks ugly so yeah Jasmine should always keep her hair loose

I was very surprised that Sneezy made to the juu 30, and made it past Dopey. I like him, but it annoys me a little that the movie has to stop when he sneezes. Some people find him gross and not memorable at all.

I have returned after pretty much spending krisimasi break w/ family (mostly my sister) and am in such a good mood due to non-Disney related epicness, Nostalgia Critic finishing Disneycember, and my shows returning while my inayopendelewa one comes to the finale.

But enough excuses. I also took time off to carefully go over the subject for this makala because of very good reason. What's the reason?

To me, cinderella isn’t the best princess. I’m not sure what it is, but something about her just rubs me the wrong way. I’m not sure if it’s her voice, her personality, au her naivety, but I just can’t stand her. She doesn’t try very hard to get Prince Charming, she does try just not very hard, she doesn’t even tell him her name! How wrong is that? She dances with the dude all night and doesn’t even tell him anything about herself, to me, that’s just wrong!

I will also write their swedish names (for a few of them) and let wewe decide which swedish name is your inayopendelewa and the one wewe think is the prettiest. Here is my fifth article! I decided to write two lists about my inayopendelewa imba voices, this orodha is the english voices, the inayofuata one will be with their swedish voices (same goes for their speaking voices which I will do after the imba voices) because swedish is my first language and I grew up with most of the swedish versions of the princesses (except for Tiana and Rapunzel). For the swedish version I will post viungo to video so that wewe can choose a inayopendelewa aswell. 10. Aurora

I don't hate her, and I don't necessarily dislike her personality. But Aurora barely does anything. She basically sang, danced, and cried. Her personality just wasn't that strong. The three vichimbakazi were zaidi enjoyable. So Aurora did nothing to impress me in her whole 18 minutes.

hujambo everybody, so I was watching Pocahontas this morning and I thought it was amazing as usual, but everytime I see it I can´t help myself from thinking about the sequel (which I know some people say is zaidi historicaly accurate, but who cares about that? I mean, it's Diney). No disrespect for those who do like the sequel. I'm not saying it's altogether bad, but the whole thing just seems a bit unnatural and rushed to me, considering the events of the first film.
