Unfortunately. When I was watching Once Upon A Time during the Frozen story arc I tried to explain the story of The Snow Queen to my mom because I was telling her that Ingrid was The Snow Queen from the original fairy-tale because she had never heard of it.

This one. But Hans Christian Andersen's ORIGINAL STORY version is much richer, darker, and far more interesting than this overblown, overrated, and bad movie.

Despite what book nerds say, sadly stories and books and such aren't as well known to the mainstream as movies/tv shows and such.

Definitely. Even if you haven't seen Frozen, it's everywhere. Disney has shoved it in the face of every last soul in the world

when they first announced frozen i went and looked up the snow queen, i had never herd of it before then...i read it and i knew exactly why walt never forwarded the project, the story was really empty, confusing and kinda weak and pointless,the snow queen wasn't anything special, she was just kinda there as an obstacle, the only interesting point was the mirror..besides that it was a pretty regular rescue story....frozen is a great improvement by making the snow queen related to the heroin, makes it alot more interesting
