Hello everyone! This is the first of many makala soon to come and I hope wewe enjoy kusoma this just as much as I did uandishi it :)

For each makala I will write about;

1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child

2. How much I have forgotten

3. Princess (will she be higher on my orodha au lower?)

4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my orodha au lower?)

5. Rating

6. How much has my opinion changed?

7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Last time watched: 2001 (seriously, how can I consider myself a Disney Princess shabiki if I waited THIS LONG to watch this movie again?)

Lets start off with how much I liked this movie when I was a kid...

To be totally honest I didn't really like this movie as much as Aladdin, The Lion King, au Lady and the Tramp. It wasn't that this movie bored me, I actually liked some parts of it, but the problem with this movie was it scared me. A lot. This was one of the few Disney sinema that actually scared me as a kid (examples: Pinocchio and Hunchback of Notre Dame)...

Does this look familiar?
Hi guys, it's been ages since I haven't written a comparison makala and since I'm going to watch The Lion King live-action reboot in July with my younger autistic brother and our dad.

The Story

While the story is original 20%, some of wewe may not know that The Lion King is loosely based on Shakespeare's "Hamlet: Prince of Denmark". Only this time, the setting was changed from 14th century Denmark to Africa and from humans to animals!
The famous ghost scene in both stories play an essential part of the story, especially in the Lion King. Since Simba needs to assume his responsibilities as King of the Pride Lands, whereas in Hamlet, the title character's father was assassinated kwa Claudius (Hamlet's uncle) prior to the events of the play.
Finally, the ending is very different from one another, mainly because Disney is well-accustomed to the Happy Ending from awali adaptions of their original fairy-tale endings, Hamlet dies and Fortinbras, prince of Norway succeeded the Danish kiti cha enzi while Simba lives to see his Uncle Scar killed kwa his allies!

In 2018, the classic Disney film Mary Poppins got a sequel called Mary Poppins Returns. I have such strong feelings on this film that I felt like sharing how I felt in a full review.

The Plot

The Banks family, a widowed dad and his three kids, are dealing with the loss of the mom of the house being gone and their house at risk of being taken away. Thankfully, Mary Poppins arrives and teaches the family how to deal with their family loss in a respectable and meaningful away. She, along with a lamplighter, helps the family with their mission of saving their house from the greedy Mr. Wilkins.

The plot of the film has been referred to do as the type of plot that has been too many times. However, this film handles what could be considered a predictable plot, in the best way possible. This film is brimming with so much genuine moyo and cheerfulness that the film's strong emotional impact makes the plot work. It's very easy to get affected kwa the drama and the lighthearted nature of the film. It handles on how to deal with the loss of a loved one in a respectful, helpful, and optimistic way.

I've put up a juu Ten inayopendelewa Disney songs, so here's a juu Ten inayopendelewa Disney Scores!

10. Kingdom Dance
Movie: Tangled
Composer: Alan Menken
This song is played when Rapunzel and Eugene are in Corona together for her birthday, ending with the Kingdom Dance. This is a fun song and it’s fun to watch. Rapunzel is running around like she’s in Disneyland (something I’m pretty sure the writers were going for) and any time I’m going somewhere exciting like Disneyland au a convention this song plays in my head and I feel like Rapunzel. There’s times where I listen to this song and when the kingdom dance part comes up I feel like joining Rapunzel.

9. Married Life
Movie: Up
Composer: Michael Giacchino
This song is played during the Ellie and Carl’s married life scene at the beginning. It’s a simple sounding song, not as overwhelming as some of the others on this orodha but that’s the thing, to me it sounds like a simple song but it ends up fitting so well with Carl and Ellie’s life together. Their married life looks so simple; going to work, going on picnics,...

One of my inayopendelewa things about Disney sinema is the music, both instrumental and vocal. It's something I look mbele to every time a new Disney movie comes out and then I listen to the new songs on repeat for a few days (or, in some cases, weeks). Today I decided to put together a orodha of my juu ten inayopendelewa Disney songs (hardest orodha I ever made). The songs I have in this orodha are based on:
1. How often I listen to/sing the song
2. Nostalgia
3. How much I relate to the song

10. I Just Can't Wait to Be King from The Lion King
For as long as I can remember The Lion King has always been one of my all-time inayopendelewa movies. So when I was aliyopewa a tape that included I Just Can't Wait to Be King, of course I played it whenever I could almost every day, imba along loudly to it and reenacting the song with my stuffed animals. Sadly, the part of the tape that had this song was taped over a little bit and I still remember how upset I was. A few years later my stepmom gave me a cd with my own mix and when I heard this song on it I was so happy! Even now I have this song on my phone and I listen to it when I'm feeling...

A Trip to Disneyland?
Hi guys, I watched Ralph Breaks the Internet today after watching Traci Hines and her friends' rendition of Owl City's When Will I See wewe Again, the theme song for the first film and I was really blown away kwa the film and this sequel.

The Story

So the story takes place after the events of the first film, Ralph and Vanellope are friends, they usually see each other at night. Unfortunately, an accident takes place at Vanellope's video game.
Both our main protagonists makes a trip to the internet, where we many of our maarufu and resourceful sites, like Facebook, Instagram and the orodha keeps rolling on! Not to forget the Disney Princesses making a cameo appearance after the House of Mouse.
I was really sad kwa the ending because both Ralph and Vanellope part ways, but they still keep in contact with each other!

The Characters

Now, we see our favourite characters once again. Only this time, both Felix and Tamora are trim to minor characters, honestly I actually like the latter since seeing her in the first film.

This is not Narnia!!
Hi guys, I managed to watch the Nutcracker and the 4 Realms today and I was blown away kwa the movie overall. So here is my review on it!

The Story-Line

Okay, so the film is very much like the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. To which I will talk about it later, but the film draws me in because the story is very unusual and it really captivates the audience and follow Klara, the main protagonist throughout the film.
As usual, it has a happy ending where Klara and her father reunites after having a strained relationship during the beginning of the film.

The Music

In the traditions of Disney's Sleeping Beauty, the muziki borrow elements from Tchaikovsky's ballet in which we are all certain points of the film. Including the ending where we have a happy ending for everyone, reminds me of Strauss II's famous waltzes!

In a Disney Connection

As mentioned, the film has connections to 2 Disney films and they are The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe and Disney's Fantasia. If wewe notice that when Clara enters into the cupboard, it...

Back in June of 2016, I wrote an makala where I listed of 10 of the dumbest mistakes Disney ever made. I went easy on Disney in that article, saying that while Disney has made many bad decisions but every company made bad decisions and Disney wasn't any different. I merely made it so I can express that Disney isn't as perfect as people perceive it to be. But now the kid gloves are off. It's been two years since I wrote that, and Disney has gotten even worse. So bad in fact, that I'm not afraid to say that I dislike the company now. I know what you're going to say "But Renegade! Didn't wewe say that Disney wasn't any different from any company?" Yes, but the problem is that it's Disney. Freaking Disney! The company that's been a part of everyone's childhood. The company that made hundreds upon hundreds of amazing sinema that shaped us who were are. They made entertainment that pleased both adults and children and didn't talk down to either. The company that created timeless stories and characters that people could look up and relate to. In contrast, modern Disney feels like a sick joke - a desecration of everything Walt Disney built up. What am I getting at? Disney has made several...

This is my favourite poster.
Hi guys, I just watched Coco and the film left me breathless. So, here is my review on this wonderful Pixar film.

The Story

The story is about being motivated, it reminds me of the Sound of Music. In which I will write down later, it was very interesting to see the ending where Ernesto gets killed kwa the same fate during his last earthly moments! I really like how his mashabiki saw his true colours and booed him during his grand concert.
Another great moment was the film introduces Mexican cultures and colours, another topic that I will write about later.

The Characters

Miguel is actually my favourite character, he reminds me of the title character from Hugo because they are almost identical in personality as they wanted to achieve something in their respective lives.
Dante the dog is another favourite character from the film, who provides comic relief throughout the movie. He reminds me of one my mbwa too, mainly in appearance except the fur, manyoya colour!

Julie and Dick!
Hi guys, in preparation for the sequel 'Mary Poppins Returns'. Here is my review on the 1964 film!

The Film

I was really amazed kwa the visualisation of Mary Poppins, especially when 2D animations come to life considering this film was released in the swinging 60's and there were no CGI back then!
I knew Julie Andrews from The Sound of Music, which came out the mwaka later after this film. But Mary Poppins was the first Julie Andrews' film I watched since my childhood days.
This film cheers me up, especially the songs because it's vibrant, colourful and interesting.

The Songs

I could not get the song out of my head! Especially 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' and 'A Spoonful of Sugar', I must give credits to the Sherman brothers for these 2 wonderful songs ever!
The song I cried literally was 'Feed the Birds', because from I read is that, the actress playing the bird feeder in that particular number in the film has passed on (or something like that). She only made a minor appearance in the film!

I loved this and the first movie ever since I was four I like the sekunde one way better than the first one. Soon after watching the full movie again I have to say I generally think the sekunde one is better than the first as a movie. I know a lot of people are gonna disagree with me, but I don't care this is MY opinion.
Plot
When kusoma the plot it does sound simple and how the Disney sequels. The plot is kinda predictable but it's a good message for anyone.

Characters
I think it's the main two characters really made the movie for me and others: Angel and Scamp. They are probably both around my age (I turn 14 inayofuata month) and it makes them relatable. Lets talk about them individually. First Scamp, who people either see him as cute and relatable au a brat. I can see why people see him as that because he's always wanting to be free but as being a teen that's what makes him likable. Lets talk about Angel, who is one of those characters who feels real and is like-able. She has a good and kind moyo who is yet snarky and no she not that kind of snarky as in some kinky shabiki art of her.

Baymax!
Hi guys, I watched 2 of these films and I notice a number of similarities. Ready?

Hugo

Okay, I remember I watched this 2011 film with my mom, and it was really because the title character Lost his dad after the latter only appear 5 dakika of the film when it started!
He tries to survive and along the way, he meets a girl names Isabelle to whom he befriended. She helps him a lot especially about his father's inventions, speaking of Hugo's dad, he also introduces his son to inventions and mechanism.
He also tries to help others, especially Inspector Gustave to clear the misunderstanding between to two and make peace with each other!

Big Hero 6

Like Hugo, the protagonist's sibling only appear during the opening for a few dakika and then dies. Coincidentally, Hiro's eldest brother name Tadashi dies while being engulf in the flames that destroys the fair!
Hiro also discovers Tadashi's creation, Baymax and learns about the robot. Hiro also meets some new Marafiki and tries to save others along the way.

There's a lot of really cute babies animated kwa Disney so it's time to onyesha some appreciation to them! The orodha includes all Disney uhuishaji Studios movies.

10. Baby Lucky

Such an underrated scene, it's so touching when the the little puppy actually makes it. It's a tiny little thing with a pink nose and a white kanzu, koti and even if his eyes weren't open, it just made it cuter. It was so heartwarming as a child and still is now. I couldn't help wanting a puppy of my own after this scene especially seeing his little nose peek out and snuggle he father's. It's so cute and totally worth the mention.

9. Baby Simba

The one probably iconic baby moment when Simba gets lifted up above the crowd. I never really though of baby Simba as particularly cute when I was little, but now with my recently upendo of wanyama I've noticed his fuzzy head and the little paws. I really shouldn't try to connect kid Simba with baby Simba, because kid Simba isn't very innocent au cute, whilst baby Simba is a lil' chubby fluff ball. The uhuishaji helps, but baby...

We're so cool! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO US AND BUY OUR MERCH!
1. Come up with a ridiculously cheesy plot.

2. Make all au most of your characters really, really, really boring and unlikable. If the audience doesn't wanna strangle the characters kwa the end of the movie, then you're doing it wrong.

3. Hire really horrible songwriters to write awful songs with atrocious lyrics.

4. Auto-tune the sh*t out of the songs. If your songs don't sound like they have the entire world's worth of auto-tune on them, then you're doing it wrong.

5. Hire really, really bad singers to sing your awful songs. The maximum amount of good singers wewe can have is two au three at most.

6. Cast really bad actors who are hammy, over-the-top, and talentless. If wewe don't have at least one actor who seems like he/she just came out of a basic high school uigizaji class, then wewe ARE DOING IT WRONG.

7. End the movie with a cliffhanger kwa having a character hint at a sequel. This is absolutely crucial. If wewe don't have someone say "You didn't think this was the end of the story, did you?", then wewe ARE DOING IT WRONG, DAMN IT.

9. Gisselle and ponchastos
Giselle- She stands at 9th : At the beginning of the film, she is originally the stereotype of a Disney Princess. Because she lives in the perfect ndoto world of Andalasia, she has barely felt emotions that are rare to the land such as frustration, sadness, and anger, which, of course, are common on Earth. She dreams of having her own Prince Charming, whom she will fall in upendo with and live happily ever after. She also loves animals, who help her both in Andalasia and on Earth. She understands upendo for all and life.
Poncahontas - she stands at 9th : Pocahontas loves nature, and she spends her time exploring the land. After she falls in upendo with a man named John Smith, it's up to her to discover her destiny and bring peace to her people. She is a not giving up girl and really strong and positive and has a strong moyo .

Lily James!
If Disney were to make a live action film featuring a brand new heroine. Here are my dream casts and why!

1) The Heroine (Lily James)

I would upendo to see her act in another Disney film, considering that she played cinderella in 2015. She should play a good heroine in this!

2) The Mother (Paige O' Hara)

The voice of Belle, I noticed that she looks like an elderly version of Lily James at some point, if the movie is out, I can tell that she and Lily James could have a strong chemistry together as mother and daughter.

3) The Father (Hugh Bonneville)

He is the perfect choice for Lily James's character's father and he is also from Downton Abbey, he's very convincing and cool at the same time.

4) The Boyfriend (Richard Madden)

Lily's costar from Cinderella, I upendo the strong chemistry with Lily and I hope that they could be together in real life.

Princess Anna and Queen Elsa were at their kingdom. Anna alisema "Tonight me and Kristoff are going to go to the city's new restaurant."

Elsa alisema "You better behave zaidi mature than usual." Anna asked why. Elsa alisema "The new restaurant is really fancy. It has a the "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy."

Anna alisema "Do they really care that much about shoes?"

Elsa alisema "I heard a guy wearing flip flops got rejected."

Anna alisema "That's kind of harsh."

Elsa alisema "I actually kind of respect their fanciness."

Anna had a silly idea (of course). Anna decided to follow the sign's rules kwa wearing a shirt, shoes and everything else except pants. Anna alisema "I'm going to teach the restaurant how to have a sense of humor."

Anna left the kingdom fully dressed to fool Elsa. After arriving near the restaurant Anna donated her pants to charity.

Back around April 17th (Which is my birthday.) after I finished my makala where I reviewed Bayformers, I was planning on uandishi a new makala where I orodha off stories that Disney should adapt into movies. However, after kusoma an makala where a Fanpoper counted down the Disney Revival sinema from her least inayopendelewa to favorite, I was inspired to write down a version of my own. As a result, my plan on listing off stories that I want Disney to adapt was put on delay. But now, it seems like the perfect time to continue it.
About a mwezi ago, I made a kura ya maoni where I listed off the stories I want Disney to adapt, even allowing others to include their own stories they want Disney to adapt.

For almost a century, one of the things that made Disney so good is their adaptations of iconic fairy tales (Despite how dark and disturbing the actual stories were). They're adaptations of alisema stories were so successful and iconic that they have become the characters we associate the names with. Back in the past, they accurately adapted the fairy tales (Or rather: the kid-friendly version of them) but nowadays, Disney is zaidi original and now they do zaidi original movies...
