No, this is not cheating. I know that I alisema that I wouldn’t review Lion King based on the fact that if it’s based on anything at all, it’s based on a play and not a book. And I also know that Peter Pan started out as a play. But: This play was so successful that Barrie also published a novel based on it. Plus, while the play made the figure Peter Pan well known, he actually turned up first in the novel The Little White Bird. See? Not cheating at all.
But it would be naturally strange to ignore the play – I’m a little bit at disadvantage here, though, because I’ve never seen it,...

So I did the first part of the Fanpop's Favourite Couple countdown from 1928-1953. These are the first couples of WDAS, so they are not as complex and zaidi simple than their successors. The countdown in the kura za maoni was to vote off their favourite couples, and each round would do that until we reached our least favourite. Here are the results of the countdown.

Placings 10-7 are from the package films from 1942-1949, so many people did my know them au watch their movies. There were not really any maoni about these four couples, and most people alisema they did not know these couples. Poor package...

Young Simba: Hey, Uncle Scar, guess what?
Scar: I despise guessing games.
Young Simba: I'm gonna be King of Pride Rock.
Scar: Oh, goody.
Young Simba: My dad just showed me the whole kingdom. And I'm gonna rule it all. Heheh.
Scar: Yes. Well, forgive me for not leaping for joy. Bad back, wewe know.
[flops on his side]
Young Simba: hujambo Uncle Scar, when I'm King, what'll that make you?
Scar: A monkey's uncle.
Young Simba: [laughs] You're so weird.
Scar: wewe have no idea.

Zazu: [singing] Nooooobody knows the trouble I've seen. / Nooooobody knows my sorrow.
Scar: Oh, Zazu, do lighten up. Sing something...

Ch. 8— Busted

Angel and Scamp awoke the inayofuata siku to find it sunny and light. When Scamp woke up, he cheered, “Hee-hee-hee! They haven’t found us yet!”
“Good job, tenderfoot!” Angel giggled. “Now it’s time to find a family!”
Angel, at once, moved to a lamppost at the corner of the street, watching the cars and pedestrians pass by. She stared at each car and pedestrian that moved with puppy eyes. “Somebody will come to adopt me,” Angel stated insistently.
    “Can’t...

 Animated Cruella De Vil (1961)
Animated Cruella De Vil (1961)
A while after Roger and Anita have married and settled down together, Perdita, Anita's dalmatian, hears the screech of Cruella's car outside, and runs to the jikoni to hide from 'that devil woman'. Looking out of the window, Roger sees that Cruella, whom he refers to as Anita's old schoolmate, is coming towards the house. As she approaches the front door, Roger sings less-than-flattering song about Cruella; Anita attempts to stop Roger for fear that Cruella might hear. Roger goes upstairs and uses various musical instruments to play the tune to the song when Cruella bursts in, demanding to...

Disney Villainesses Battle Tournament – Round 1

The Premise –
Sorcerer Jafar, in one last desperate attempt to escape the Underworld and return to the mortal world, and following his failed attempt to murder Hercules and Aladin in order to obtain his freedom (Hercules, “Arabian Night”), proposes to Hades, Lord of the Dead, that a game be played to determine his fate. If Hades wins, Jafar will remain in the Underworld for all eternity with no hope of escape. If Jafar wins, wouldn’t wewe know it, he will be free to “dance around the Cosmos and whoop it up.” Jaffie’s proposal?...

From the first feature hand drawn uhuishaji
From the first feature hand drawn animation
To celebrate the release of Tangled(which is out this Friday where im from Ireland) I’ve decided to do a orodha of films that I saw from Disney.

Enjoy!!

#1 Snow White: Ah yes the fairytale that started it all this one was so darn cute it was a bit overrated. The story as wewe all know is about a young princess who runs away from her evil stepmother and she befriends seven dwarves.

#2 Sleeping Beauty: inayofuata up is this one. Quite frankly I didn’t enjoy this movie at all as it was boring and very mediocre. The princess was so dumb and stupid I actually didn’t care about her at all.

#3 Oliver &...
