Are the Doctor and Amy gonna get together eventually?

I hope not! They have already done the doctor/companion 1/companion 2 romantic pembetatu with Rose (and Mickey) witch the doctor "won", followed kwa Martha's unrequited upendo for him. Was refreshing to have Donna as his best mate (you're not maiting with me, sunshine!). Now that they are doing the love-triangle again I find it is better that it ends up with the two companions. Why tell the same story twice? The doctor won Rose from Mickey. Why should he also win Amy from Rory. And why should Amy abandon her fiancee (like Rose abandoned Mickey)? No, I think Amy will end up with Rory au someone else and the doctor will end up with River Song (if they can ever manage to meet in the rigth order ;-) )

I think Amy and Rory make a cute couple, Not saying anything against the Doctor but poor Rory is not so bad a guy either and he posatively adores Amy.

Although, If Rory were zaidi savy he would swali the motives of a woman who would run off with an alien the night before thier wedding as well as trying to seduce thast same alien.

So I guess Amy should get off that fence she's been setting on and choose either the Doctor au Rory asnd don't leave either hanging.because it's not fair to either of them. and the Doctor better let Amy know one way au another how he feels and not keep Rory in the dark. (You can tell I like Rory)

Nothing's simple with the Doctor. He and Rose were head over heels in upendo and they never actually got together. She wasn't engaged either, besides the fact that she was 20 and he was 900 there wasn't really anything stopping them. So the Doctor is obviously too conscious of the fact that he's the Doctor, his life is dangerous and starting a relationship with anyone just isn't a good idea.

Although there is a part of me that would just like them to hook up because I think the idea of the Doctor having something like Marafiki with benefits with a companion is hilarious. But of course that won't ever happen. But I'd like them to get together, I don't really think Amy's done making moves but I don't think it'll happen.

I don't believe so. The nature of the Doctor in regards to his companions has never been overtly inclined towards a relationship, excepting Rose - and even then he holds back and back, refusing to 'take the plunge' as it were. It takes a half-Human version to allow himself to do so.

I honestly think it would cause major issues with the series if they did. The nature of the Doctor's companions is that they're transitory.

I like Amy + The Doctor = Grown Up Kids. Going off that, I don't think they'll get together. Although it would be cool, but who knows.

Amy really loved Rory, but as soon as she met the doctor she fell in upendo with him. Now that Rory is gone, I'm sure that her and the doctor will be together. Amy has no reason to go back to her normal life without him.

We all want them together! i mean, rory is funny and sweet, but hes not amys true love. Doctor was always her best friend, and i never truly liked rose and ten! they were NOT suitable. She was annoying, thta Rose.

They're saying in the sixth season there will be a "marriage rift" between Amy and Rory and that all of them will have secrets, with Amy's being the biggest of them all. Also, Matt has alisema that Amy and the Doctor's relationship will change forever.

I doubt they will get together, as the dr and companian romantic relationship has sort of already been done with Rose and the 9th/11th doctor. But i do hope that there is some zaidi cute moments between them, there is some chemistry there but i doubt that they will actually romantically get involved with each other. Well series 6 aires soon so we will have to wait and see! And there's also river song and finding out if she is the drs wife au not. Heres a series 6 filming pic though of Amy and the Dr :)
