	solo1861 picked Keep Alex Kingston: I find the "Younger Prettier" part kinda offensive. Alex Kingston isn't that old and she is pretty. As for River I think at one point they will have to replace her because she is suppose to be younger every time the doctor meet her (and Alex can't look younger) but it doesn't have to be now and it doesn't have to be with a younger actress either. posted zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita.

	Corjein picked Get Younger Prettier Actress: Matt Smith is 28, Alex Kingston is 48... She's old. My friend swears she is pretty, but I can't see it. It's all a matter of opinion. Without a doubt, Alex Kingston is a wonderful actress who is portraying River marvelously, but the character is getting younger -that was odd writing- and when they finally get to the smoochie smoochie stuff, I'd prefer, and I think Matt's with me on this one, a younger actress. posted zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita.

Well, since the Doctor and River have met out of order, I think a new actress will be needed to play Alex's role. And since River is a Time lady, she may have to regenerate at some point... but I hope she'll stay as longer as possible. But River is such an amazing character, how could they hope to maintain that by switching to a much younger actress? Did I mention that Matt Smith is 28? It all has to do with the way they make the transition. Moffat has impressed me a lot over the past season and a half. What's still amazing is the fact that most of what we've seen so far has just been setting things up. Ok, I'm gunna switch things up... I want to speculate on River's character, because this, "And since River is a Time lady, she may have to regenerate at some point..." got me thinking. She meets The Dcotor as Alex Kingston, and Yes, while she is getting younger, she only regenerates twice, Once from Melody Pond into Mels, and again from Mels into River. Also, as we learned in "Let's Kill Hitler" she gave all of her remaining regenerations to The Doctor, thus, she cannot regenerate again. Lastly, she dies as Alex Kingston's River in "Silence in The Library." Just because she is part time lady does not mean she gets younger as she ages. She went from Melody ---> Mels --> River. If Moffat really wants to stop River being in it, fine. But she shouldn't be replaced by someone younger. Did you know, she got turned down for about 5 jobs because she was 'old' and hadn't had plastic surgery.
