Can someone please tell me what Lord Grantham was referring to when he tells Lady Grantham that is is grateful for Lavinia's gift. What is the gift? I can only think that he is referring to her death as a gift of freedom. Matthew is now released from his Engagement and is free to marry Mary. Any thoughts on this???
