oh and then some bila mpangilio in a chat room got me hooked to other dupstep artists (not just skrillex)
It was three years ago, a friend of mine in high school found a great dubstep track and showed it to me. I always loved techno like House muziki and heavy basses and Dubstep is full of heavy basses. I also like filthstep, complextro and moombahton. i find brostep too crappy and commercial

moombahton? Also, complextro is zaidi electronic/glitch than dubstep
Early last year, I saw a dubstep remix of the "winning interview w/ Charlie Sheen" and I thought, hmmm, what is this dub of step? Then I found UKF :3 thank wewe Mr. Sheen
When I was looking for some information about Katy-b on wikipedia, I found out that her muziki is kinda dubstep, so I searched for 'dubstep' on Youtube and found my new fave muziki style. ;)
My friend is an amazing dancer and i asked him what he danced to... he was appalled i didn't know any electronic so he described each type and told me he dances to dubstep. huge shabiki now
i remember it wuz last mwaka & heard about Deadmau5 i didnt know much about him so i listend 2 alot of his songs & then i listened 2 Daft Punk, then Skrillex. evr since then ive been a big shabiki of these 3 artists :D
In a way, I was into dubstep BEFORE it was cooll. I mean I listen to techno and house, and ever since I was old enough to grasp a controller, I loved video game soundtrack songs (Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Jet Set Radio Future, particularly!!!! Sega rocks!!!!!!!). So I downloaded some Skrillex to check it out and here I am now!
well a couple years ago, my guy friend christian was all like 'whoah bro, dubsteps awesome!' and i always fforgot to look up dubstep, but then my Marafiki kylee and niack showed me 'lost woods' dubstep, from dj ephixa, and it was awesome. so thats how i know dubstep, now we play all during art class
I was actually surfin' YouTube about 2 years zamani and found this video (linked) about this singer I liked called Christina Grimmie rockin' out to some Skrillex... from then on I was totally hooked!!
It was early in 2012.... My cousin showed me few songs. The first dubstep song I liked was "Sierra Leone" kwa MT Eden. Since that day, dubstep is my life. But, the reason why I upendo dubstep so much now, is because of Skrillex.
It was about a mwaka ago, and Skydoesminecraft on Youtube came out with a video. And it had a song as the background called 'Cosmic Ray' kwa Droptek. I wondered what kind of muziki it was... I found out it was my new inayopendelewa kind of music, DUBSTEP!!! I also upendo Monstercat on youtube, too.
When I was listening to Skrillex in 2012. I was only ten at the time, and I was getting zaidi musically diverse. Still am, to be quite honest (I like other genres besides dubstep).
