Alice managed to wait until the end of the school siku before mentioning her “brilliant” idea to Bella. We were walking to the car when she suddenly stopped and closed her eyes.

“I have foreseen…” she began, sounding like a psychic you’d reach on a 900 line. I attempted to elbow her in the ribs to get her to cut it out, but she saw it coming and dodged it. “Fine. Edward is making me do this. But I did foresee that wewe would be zaidi difficult if I surprised you.”

Bella was staring at her blankly. “In English?”

“Don’t be a baby about this. No tantrums.”

Bella’s eyes widened....

I can see a look across her face, seeing that she wanted to argue with me. I was ready to defend my arguements, but Bella's didn't speak. But I will only change her under one condition... if she marry me. It makes me feel humored looking at her thinking and thinking about it. I was getting the impression that Bella wanted immortality zaidi than me. This thought saddened me. But I held back the thought, hoping that she loved me as much as I did. Did she upendo me less because I left her?

Bella's face turned zaidi distressed. So I spoke my reasons.
"Bella, there's no hurry. I won't let anyone hurt...

Chapter 14: Wager

I entered the house to find Emmett and Jasper absorbed in a video game, with Alice perched on the kitanda flipping through a magazine.

“You’re nyumbani early,” Jasper observed, never taking his eyes off the televisheni screen.

“I couldn’t possibly hunt anymore,” I explained. “Plus, I was hoping to be there when Bella arrived home, since she forgot her phone.”

“She isn’t nyumbani yet,” Alice said. “Or at least, I can’t see her yet. She could be nyumbani and the dog is still there, I guess.”

“ Either way, I think I’m going to wait for her over there.”

Good luck....

Chapter 7: Temper

I was furious as I dialed Alice’s number. How could she let this happen again? I gave her a Porsche for God’s sake, and all she had to do was keep Bella in the house. My brothers and Carlisle were unmoving behind me, having heard the message and knowing how angry I would be. Jasper was desperately trying to send calming waves my way, but I was too far gone for them to even begin to help. I punched the numbers furiously, and Alice’s voice came over the speaker before it had a chance to ring.

“Edward, I—“

“HOW COULD wewe LET THIS HAPPEN?!” I roared, not caring enough...

I’ll let wewe pay me back, if that makes wewe happy. If wewe want, I can charge wewe interest.

Edward Cullen, Eclipse, Chapter 1, p.22

There’s no hurry. I won’t let anyone hurt you. wewe can take all the time wewe need.

Edward Cullen, Eclipse, Chapter 1, p.25

I’ll never forgive myself for leaving you. Not if I live a hundred thousand years.

Edward Cullen, Eclipse, Chapter 1, p.33

I don’t know how to phrase this properly. It’s going to sound cruel, I suppose. But I’ve come too...

When I woke up I went to the window and looked outside. It was mawingu, overcast and windy. In other words it was a perfect day, and I wouldn’t have to go to school without Edward. He left and I was ready when he picked me up.

On our way to school I realized that I had never gotten an answer to my swali last night. The one about whether Edward had rethought his carefully planned boundaries. But now wasn’t the best time. We were in the school parking lot. Edward opened my door and led me to my locker. The first kengele rang.

“I guess I’ll see wewe later.” He alisema melancholy.

“Yep, see wewe in...

The inayofuata morning was much zaidi relaxed. It was Monday, and Bella and I were driving to school. We were both in good spirits until a block away from the parking lot. That’s when I picked up on his scent. A werewolf was waiting in the Forks High School parking lot, and I had a pretty good idea about who it would be. I scanned the parking lot for thoughts, and found Jacob’s face in some of the students minds whom had passed him by. This would not be good.

“If I asked wewe to do something, would wewe trust me?” I asked Bella.

She looked at me carefully, and I knew she could sense the stress...

Did Bella think I insulted her? She looked angry. I was getting a little worried after a few dakika when she didn't speak. Then I put one finger under Bella's chin so she would pay attention to what I was saying and I want her to know that I didn't mean what I said.
"Sorry. Really." I told her sencerely.
She looked at me, with a frustrated expression, which confused me. But then she spoke.
"I know. I know it's not the same thing. I shouldn't have reacted that way. It's just well, I was already thinking about Jacob before wewe over." she said.
I could tell that my expression hardened when she said...

Chapter 6: Unhappy Ending

The drive to California seemed to take an excruciatingly long time, even at vampire speeds. Carlisle was driving, his thoughts on work, with me in the passenger seat. Emmett and Jasper sat behind us, with Emmett’s thoughts shifting between Rosalie and his strategies for the looming hunting trip. Jasper kept begging me to settle down in his mind, and was concentrated on keeping me calm, although I’m not sure how much he was helping.

I eventually blocked out all their thoughts as best I could and got Lost in my own. The only thing I was capable of doing at that moment...

Chapter 5: Switzerland

Bella seemed distracted as she drove back towards Forks, no doubt Lost in thought about that mutt. She didn’t notice at first when my silver Volvo pulled up inches behind her bumper, but eventually she glanced in her review mirror, and her moyo soared. She knew Alice had called, and she knew I was probably angry. I assumed that when she saw I was behind her, she would pull over, but she continued driving, purposefully averting her eyes from my stare in her mirror. She obviously wasn’t ready to face me yet, which was just as well as I had yet to get my emotions completely...

Chapter 4: Nature

As I had expected, Bella demanded a meeting with my family shortly after our incident with the dog in the parking lot. Luckily, I had seen this coming (confirmed kwa Alice, of course), and had gotten to my family first. I had convinced them all that Bella’s change could not happen while she was in a state of panic. Giving up your mortality was not a decision to take lightly, and doing it because wewe are afraid is not the right decision. They agreed with me wholeheartedly, and I was grateful.

The meeting itself had gone quickly, each of my family members telling Bella why she...

When I arrived at Charlie’s, Bella was asking permission to go to La Push. Charlie’s thoughts were ecstatic that she was finally going to be talk to Jake. He didn’t care that it was the middle of the night. Quicker than a human eye could detect, I opened the kofia of Bella’s truck, and quickly incapacitated it. I hopped in the passenger’s kiti, kiti cha and waited in the dark. It was cloudy tonight. Too cloudy for even the moon to shine through. I was rather annoyed that Bella would go behind my back to see Jacob, but I did warn her that I would stop her if she tried. Apparently she hadn’t...

“You’re really not that good of a mechanic, Edward. Maybe wewe should have Rosalie look at it tonight, just so wewe look good if Mike decides to let wewe help, wewe know. Not that it wouldn’t be fun to watch his face if Rosalie showed up to help. But since Rosalie is supposed to be across the country attending college, I guess that’s not the best idea. Too bad. Though, I suppose, for Mike’s car, you’ll do. It’s only within the finer tunings of a good Italian sports car that you’re out of your depth. And speaking of Italy, and sports cars I aliiba there, wewe still owe me a yellow...

In Alice's vision, I see Victoria in the forest right near Forks. Alice's face was completely blank, and I controlled my expression so Angela and Ben won't be wondering what's going on. We still have a secret to protect, the only exception was Bella.
"Alice? Alice!" Angela yelled while moving her hands back and forth in front of Alice's face. I stopped looking at the horror-strucked vision and pretended that it was not a big deal. I didn't need Bella to get worried. I won't let anything happen to her.

I made a casual laugh. Angela and Ben looked at me, but Bella was still staring at Alice. I...

As usual, at night, I sticked kwa Bella's side, watching her sleep in peace. It made me smile when she alisema my name over and over again. Sometimes she make full sentences saying, "I upendo you, Edward."
I kissed her forehead, and said, "I never get tired of wewe saying saying that, I will always upendo wewe too."
As if she could hear me, she smiled slightly and drifted into deeper sleep.
I rubbed her arm, letting her know that I will never leave her out of my sight again.

It was already the inayofuata day, and Bella and I were walking from Spanish class to the Cafeteria. Almost everyone ignored us....

I stared at Bella with surprise as the dominant feature on my face. I didn't expect theory like this. When I didn't answer, Bella spoke again, she explained.
"Jacob told me that your family being here set things in motion. I thought wewe would already know...." she trailed off when my eyes narrowed.
Is she blaming us for the existence of werewolves.
"Is that what they think?" I asked.
"Edward, look at the facts. Seventy years ago, wewe came here, and the mtu-bweha showed up. wewe come back now, and the mtu-bweha showed up again. Do wewe think that's a coincidence?"
she reasoned.

I blinked. I thought...

Chapter 9: Scent

It was sort of an unspoken agreement between Jacob and myself that I wouldn’t be around while he was here. Besides the obvious reasons, I wanted to follow the trail the unknown vampire had left to see if I could discover anything Emmett and Jasper could have missed. It sounded reasonable to me, but Bella was upset that I was leaving.

“It’s not that I feel any personal antagonism toward him, Bella,” I tried explaining. “It’s just easier for both of us. I won’t be far away. You’ll be safe.”

“I’m not worried about that,” she said, exasperation evident in her...

Everything was ready. Bella had her alibi in the form of a two siku sleep over with 'Alice', that was easy enough. Her mind was slightly zaidi at peace knowing that Charlie was fishing with Billy and that Angela, Ben, Mike and Jessica had gone to the concert. She also seemed almost comforted kwa the fact that in forty-eight hours, one way au another, this would all be over, as was I, somewhat at least. Now all we had to think about was tonight, I told myself.

Bella and I, completely alone. Although I had spent the night with Bella many times before, all while Charlie was suitably unconscious,...

Chapter 8: Target

Alice dropped Bella at nyumbani in the morning, as I was still “camping” as far as her father knew. I had to wait at least an saa au so before inaonyesha up at her house, so Charlie would think I had just arrived home. It was hard for Bella to constantly lie to her father, even if it was for his own good. She hated lying to anyone about anything, and she was terrible at it when she tried. I was surprised Charlie believed as much as he did, but that was zaidi Alice’s doing than Bella’s.

I was anxious to be back with Bella already, and I was having a hard time waiting a full...

Chapter 15: Epoch[/b]

Graduation siku arrived at last. I couldn’t remember the last time I had been even remotely interested in a graduation ceremony, and yet today I was excited. Despite her reservations, Bella had done well on her exams, and I knew she was proud of herself, as I was of her. And although I knew she wasn’t looking mbele to it, the graduation party was going to be a good experience for her, and I was going to make sure she ended up having a good time. I had wanted to get her a gift for graduation, but she had insisted that I not spend any money on her, and finally I gave...
