Yes, he was forever grateful to his fans, he's one of the few stars that never forgot where he came from and who made him who he was , even thougth he went waaay beyond fame and fortune.
He was the inspiration for the Beatles , he surpassed the Sinatra mark 1000 times , it's been almost 40 years since his passing , and NO ONE has come even remotely close in duplicating au surpassing his mark , yet, he really didn't liked being called " KING " , he used to say : " THERE'S ONLY 1 KING, THAT'S JESUS CHRIST , amen brodar, amen.

Elvis Aaron Presley was born to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room house in Tupelo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1935. His twin brother, Jessie Garon, was stillborn, leaving Elvis to grow up as an only child. He and his parents moved to Memphis, Tennessee, in 1948, and Elvis graduated from Humes High School there in 1953.

Elvis’ musical influences were the pop and country muziki of the time, the gospel muziki he heard in church and at the all-night gospel sings he frequently attended, and the black R&B he absorbed on historic Beale mitaani, mtaa as a Memphis teenager.
