Is "The Bling Ring" a remake of the 2011 Lifetime movie of the same title?

There's a Lifetime movie called "The Bling Ring" that came out in 2011 about a group of teenagers that would rob the homes of LA celebrities.

Is this new movie a remake of that? au a different movie about the same true events, au is in completely unrelated?

I really upendo the Lifetime movie, so it would be great to see another telling of the story.
