ray Romano stepped out with his family on Sunday for a charity fundraiser, the first time he's been seen in public since the tragic suicide of his young co-star Sawyer Sweeten.

The Everybody Loves Raymond nyota arrived with his wife for the 12th Annual Stuart House Benefit in West Hollywood.

Days earlier the actor led tributes to 19-year-old Sawyer, who played his son on the hit show, after he took his own life while visiting a family member's nyumbani in Texas on Thursday morning.

The cast of Everybody Loves Raymond is reacting to the shocking death of Sawyer Sweeten, who played one of the young twins on the beloved series.

“I’m shocked, and terribly saddened, kwa the news about Sawyer,” ray Romano alisema (via the Daily Mail). “He was a wonderful and sweet kid to be around. Just a great energy whenever he was there. My moyo breaks for him, his family, and his Marafiki during this very difficult time.”

Sawyer‘s older sister Madylin, who was also on the show, confirmed to Us Weekly that he committed suicide.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that the hit series "Everybody Loves Raymond" will be the 2014 televisheni inductee into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame. The onyesha will be honored at the 2014 NAB onyesha televisheni Luncheon, April 7 in Las Vegas. Cast members expected to attend the induction include ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts, Brad Garrett and Monica Horan, along with the show's creator, Phil Rosenthal.
