Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) might feel like she\'s in cahoots with the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) on "Game of Thrones," but she\'s forgotten one of his followers has his eye on her.

Season 5 introduced the Sparrows through a familiar face to both viewers and Cersei: Her nephew/former lover, Lancel Lannister (Eugene Simon). They shared intimate moments like conspiring to get King Robert Baratheon drunk so he would potentially die on a boar hunt (which he did), and Lancel hasn\'t taken it well. Part of his new life as a Sparrow means getting Cersei -- among other people -- to realize what she\'s also done wrong.

"I think that he has a list, most certainly, but I do think that she is the rib-eye steak on that list," Simon tells Zap2it. "A good way of understanding how intimately he is aware of her methods and her choices is even in the first scene that we ever see Lancel meet Cersei; the fact that she\'s on that balcony having her wine and the fact that he knows where to find her just demonstrates the extent to which their old, intimate life would have given him knowledge of what she does when she\'d wants to be alone. He knows that."

Cersei clearly is too focused on the threats of Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) and Dorne to be concerned with why Lancel knew exactly where to find her upon his return, but Simon feels that\'s a mistake on her part. "If she knew how much he knew, she should be frightened," he says.

But it\'s not just their history that makes Lancel trouble; it\'s also the fact he\'s a member of the Sparrows. Cersei seemingly joined forces with their leader, the High Sparrow, in April 26\'s episode, but Simon has some advice she probably should hear.

"You have to understand with the Sparrows that if you give them an inch, they\'ll take a mile," he explains. "That\'s the best way to look at any deal you strike with them. You will always be surprised with the effectiveness and the tenacity and the organization with which they can execute the will of the gods."

"It\'s a totalitarian religious ideology, but believes it has all the answers," he later adds. "[The High Sparrow] believes that by making people ... aware of the extent of their sins, that through that they can almost be frightened into behaving properly."

For his part, Simon is thrilled to have Lancel return. Not only does he get to work alongside actors like Pryce -- "He\'s a really funny person, and that makes working with him all the better" -- but he also finally gets to have a physical presence on the show again.

"[Lancel] kills kings, he sleeps with people, he nearly dies and he starts to whisper rumors about Cersei -- all off screen," Simon recalls with a laugh.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
